Clinton fell in with The Family in 1993, when she joined a Bible study group composed of wives of conservative leaders like Jack Kemp and James Baker. When she ascended to the Senate, she was promoted to what Sharlet calls the Family's "most elite cell,"

hmmmm..she's a member of the vast right wing conspiracy??? this church is a cult of the elite, right and left wing.

Sorry, no time for this, the Rev. Wright is still front page news.

Well, sorry, but now the front page is all about how Obama has this race problem; it's a wonder he won more votes and delegates and campaign donations than anyone else. Someone forgot to tell all the new and young voters about Obama's race problem.

The news is all about how Hillary actually "won" FL and MI and that's why she should get all the superdelegates.

Because, despite her extremely high negatives and inability to get anyone to send her money, she should be the nominee.

This can only mean MSM appears to want McCain very much, there's not one word against him these days and Rove's machine will make mincemeat out of Hillary when the time comes.

One of these days, they'll make up something about him that actually helps him.

you're correct on your points & very logical (again).

the media has turned against Obama. but the media promoted him it seems starting a long time ago. Paul didn't get that positive treatment.

Yes, even MSNBC and CNN. It's not just Fox News anymore.

I find this creepy kind of power grabbing Church for the Perpetually Compromised more dangerous and more symptomatic of the people I'm afraid of than Obama's church. This just seems more like the kind of church fascists would attend.

I agree.

I don't know everything allegedly offensive that Rev Wright said. I saw his september 16, 2001 sermon on youtube, it looked like a good fundamental christian sermon to me. I liked the verses he quoted. I think wright might've got a little carried away sometimes and said some things a little offensive. but I think he's still basically christian. and its not like the black folk don't have a reason to be a little upset over how they were treated for so long.

The article above uses the term 'dominion'. The dominion christians are very dangerous. Hilary a dominion christian, who would've thought.

www.motherjones.com/news/...7/09/hillarys-prayer.html

here's the mother jones article.

You know it occurs to me that I checked Obama's web site a few months ago to see what he said about Iraq War. He seemed pro-war to me. because he said he wanted to reduce the quantity of troops in Iraq, but leave enough to keep control of Iraq and maintain the ability to attack other nations from the Iraq military bases. and of course I've read statements that he seems sympathetic to war with Iran, he's pro-war on Afghanistan and he speaks about how he wants to go after terrorists, etc.

But he changed his web site recently. and now he has a time-table to withdraw troops. He says he wants to leave enough troops to protect the embassy.

Perhaps this change in his public stance has caused a change in the media towards him. Perhaps as Warren Jeffs would say he has been found wanting.

I hated voting for Bush in 1992, I hated voting for Bush in 2000. With this new info about Hilary we know beyond shadow of doubt she's as bad as McCain.

Dominion christians are very pro-war.

Revelation 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and [see] thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

The truth is, we don't know him very well

He has some unknowns, I agree. But what is known (NOT made up) leans toward good. He's a liberal, I won't argue that.

I don’t oppose all wars. And I know that in this crowd today, there is no shortage of patriots, or of patriotism. What I am opposed to is a dumb war. What I am opposed to is a rash war. What I am opposed to is the cynical attempt by Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz and other arm-chair, weekend warriors in this Administration to shove their own ideological agendas down our throats, irrespective of the costs in lives lost and in hardships borne.

What I am opposed to is the attempt by political hacks like Karl Rove to distract us from a rise in the uninsured, a rise in the poverty rate, a drop in the median income – to distract us from corporate scandals and a stock market that has just gone through the worst month since the Great Depression.

That’s what I’m opposed to. A dumb war. A rash war. A war based not on reason but on passion, not on principle but on politics.

Obama's speech in 2002, before we invaded Iraq...

en.wikisource.org/wiki/Barack_Obama's_Iraq_Speech

Once we had troops in Iraq, he voted to continue to support them financially.

Obama has from the Senate floor, supported bills with a time line for withdrawal of our troops.

Given the current state of affairs, he wants all of our combat troops out within 16 months (as I recall). He has not stated either way on contractors yet, to my knowledge. However, he does say something about leaving advisers in Iraq. I don't see how that could work, but that's in his statement.

He still stands in sharp contrast to the other two major candidates on the war. Hillary has no timeline and never has. So, when the commentators try to say they are the same on the war, that's not true. Furthermore, she spoke out for the war before it began.

Hillary recently slammed the anti-war activists within her own party, b/c they are all supporting Obama.

Clinton on Iran: We would "totally obliterate them". ("IF I'M THE PRESIDENT, WE WILL ATTACK IRAN")

What's important is good or evil. There are liberals who are warmongers who will take away our liberties, and there are liberals who are peacemakers who just want a nanny govt.

thanks for those links on Obama. Here is a link about The Fellowship and The Cedars mansion. I am shocked that so many important people are & have been associated with it and that they use the 'dominion' term. The dominion christians are dangerous. and they're whispering into the ears of our politicians. Barney Frank goes to some of the meetings. It said every president since Eisenhouer associated with this group.

perfect - that link (thanks) has a lot of do-gooder phrases tangled up with world politics (worrisome)
