I was 11 years old when it happened. I think it had something to do with playing tetherball at school and some kid punched me in the nose. The fight ended just like that, because there was blood all over, I couldn't see because my eyes were watering, and it hurt like hell.

However, later, the kid who punched me fell off his bike and BROKE HIS NOSE.

I call this karma. Maybe kismet. I get the two confused.

However, what it means it that those who beat up on Turtle, will get it back in spades!

Heh heh heh.

finger 'n the eye.

My dad was a general contractor so I helped him starting when I was 12.

He hired this ex-con named Bobby Joe Jackson, his own brother hit him with a pool cue, so Bobby Joe popped his own brother's eyeball out of the socket.

It didn't bother me at all when he went back to the pen.

good job!

when i was 9 at summer camp they had fight night. and the counselors went to each tent looking for people to sign up & fight. So I volunteered. I was amazed that hardly anyone else signed up. I was in the first tent for the youngest guys. I thought everyone would sign up, but that didn't happen. They paired me with this 10-year old who was smaller. But he said he knew karate and was hot stuff. they put about 100 kids in this room so tight like sardines & cleared out the wood floor in the middle for the participants. They gave us head-gear and boxing gloves. The guy came at me with his arms swinging wildly for no apparent reason, to scare me I guess. I just walked right up to him and started landing punches in his face. he grazed me on the side of my head a couple of times. But within 45 seconds it was over. I won. that guy & I had no malice towards each other whatsoever. We were friends before & after.

In my teen years a friend of mine was bugging me bad. I told him I was going to kick his ass. As I walked towards him his jaw dropped in surprise and he didn't even defend himself. I hit him hard and broke my hand in 2 spots all the way clean through the bones on the very first blow. He went down, but he didn't hit the floor because a table was in the way. He lay on that table and I punched him 6-7 more times with the same hand. I wondered why my hand hurt with each blow. Finally I stopped. His face was swollen, eyes especially. I purposely avoided knocking out his teeth or breaking his nose, hitting him on the cheek & upper face. Afterwards it was pretty obvious soon my hand was broken. I told him he won the fight though he didn't hit me once. I still associated with him after that, but I didn't like him. He was an idiot and a member of the KKK.

Again in my teen years I got into a fight with another friend. He thought he was tough. He was trying to impress a female by putting me down. I let him talk tough in front of the girls he wanted to impress because I didn't want to get into it in front of them. But later on I got him. It was a fair fight. I shoved him, slapped his face lightly. Then he shoved back and I let into him. Once I hit him the first time he had no control over himself. I just kept hitting, left right left right left right like a machine. and I was hitting hard. he was bouncing back and forth. he couldn't get in a single blow. he had a swollen face too. We remained friends. Years later he came to see me in Arizona when I was in my 20's. Later he became a Green Party official.

I try to stay out of fights because you can go to jail for that.

But I've been trying to find Turtle's address in Missouri. I figure he's the punk among us and an easy target. He keeps changing his name though making it difficult to track him down. Even though I'll get it back in spades I'm too insane to care.

it is important to have goals. that is a very excellent goal. I like Olberman, but I'd rather see you succeed in your goals than his face on tv. because in reality - he ain't worth a damn thing.

I rarely watch him, but I remember seeing his call for Dubyuh's impeachment quite a while back. Olberman doesn't have the gravitas to call for Bush's impeachment, it came off as shallow and silly.

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.

If you are seeing a garbled URL on your Unix system, then this probably indicates an encoding problem. Given the encoding error, I bet my virus stuff is seeing something it doesn't understand and just shutting down the link. That's what it says it is doing - blocking the site.

I liked XP it's so easy to use, but I always had to dick around with all that spyware and antivirus stuff.

Ubuntu linux is so much simpler without any of that, but not as easy to figure out how to use and it won't play youtube videos very well for me.
