You don't go to a church for 20 years that goes by the theology of a madman like Cones and not know about what that theology even is. No way.

Obama originally purported to be the Candidate of Unity. Rather than a vehicle of unity, it's looking like his candicacy is actually causing more racial strife. When you dig beneath the veneer of Hope and Change, his supporters are nothing more than guilters, whiners, commies, and people looking for more free handouts from the government. EDIT- Oh, I forgot to add stoned college kids who like Obama because he "looks and sounds different" and he is kind of hip, too.

Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright loves his country and has every right to ask probing, and thought provoking questions in the context of life in the extended family of his church. He served in the Marines and Navy, and was a leader and top student before becoming a church leader. You would be lucky to become half the man he is. He has done nothing wrong. You need to get your head out of your ass.
For a really awesome sideshow, Wright and Hagee should engage in a steel cage fighting match. I'd probably pay to see that one.

I saw no such advocacy. I just noted a man who loves his country asking questions and conducting thought provoking commentary. Some have also noted that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. made similar comments about the imperialistic nature of American foreign policy and claimed that America was the "greatest purveyor of violence in the world today", and at another point stating: "America was founded on genocide, and a nation that is founded on genocide is destructive." Why is it when a Black man speculates he is a nut and racist and when a White one does it he is engaged in speculation and dialog? It is his job to make people think and to talk about issues that affect them and their country. This was all taken out of context and is the product of demagoguery and race baiting.

I'm not saying he didn't earn it: Actually I'm saying the opposite. You can't say that "America sucks" and "was founded on genocide" and whine and complain and then go home to your luxurious $10 million mansion. The point is that he should feel lucky that he lives here and not elsewhere. In other words, I believe he's a hypocrite on this issue.
Rev. Wright and Michelle Obama are welcome to move to African paradises like Zimbabwe and the Democratic Republic of Congo if they really have it so bad here. And does anyone really think that if Obama were white he'd be anything but a little-known, mediocre junior Senator today (if even that)? A combination of affirmative action promotion and white guilt catapulted him to where he is today.
