Two Nobel Prize Economists Recommend Obama

by Overseas [Subscribe]
Fri Apr 25, 2008 at 05:50:05 AM PDT

MSNBC has two Nobel Prize economists on right now. They were asked which of the three - Obama, Clinton or McCain - would be best for the economy, and both replied Obama.

Joseph Stiglitz, who was connected to the Clinton presidency and a 2001 prize winner, said that Obama's speech 3 weeks ago on the economy was brilliant. He also said that the deregulation of the markets during Clinton's presidency was a mistake and the markets need to be re-regulated.

Edmund Phelps, 2006 prize winner, agreed. We need a new way of looking at the economy and Obama is the one that can do that. We do not need the thinking of the past.

Hope Monger reminds below that Paul Volker has oficially endorsed Obama, and also John Bogle who changed from Repub to Dem to vote for Obama. Thanks Hope!

Plus, George Soros and the Financial Times have also endorsed Obama.

Betcha the WSJ doesn't.

Against McCain, that sounds like a pretty safe bet.

But it wouldn't surprise me at all if they endorse Hillary for the Democratic nomination against Obama. As Richard Mellon Scaife already has.

To reason, indeed, he was not in the habit of attending. His mode of arguing, if it is to be so called, was one not uncommon among dull and stubborn persons, who are accustomed to be surrounded by their inferiors. He asserted a proposition; and, as often as wiser people ventured respectfully to show that it was erroneous, he asserted it again, in exactly the same words, and conceived that, by doing so, he at once disposed of all objections. - Macaulay, "History of England," Vol. 1, Chapter 6, on James II.

Wow! I'm sure this will be on all the news channels.

A noble peace prize is a joke given out by the elite. I hope you don't riot as well if your man doesn't make it.

God is always good!
