AC/DC will be releasing their new album later this year. This is a tribute to the greatest Rock Band of all time. No one plays with their energy. No one even come s close. So sit back and enjoy what Rock N Roll was meant to be.

Lets start it off with Riff Raff off of their Powerage album.

This is AD/DC playing Chuck Berrys Classic School Days. One of the very few songs they didn't write themselves. Gotta love it.

Zeppelin was good. But AC/DC endures. Here is AC/DC's Brian Johnson doing a Led Zeppelin tune.

Amen!

Thanks for the headsup!

Thunderstruck is an all time fav. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding and this was their song!! The whole place lost their mind.... they must've played it 8 million times, and no one was sitting.

My neck hurt for a week.

I love Thunderstruck. Here is Angus and the boys doing Thunderstruck live. What a crowd. Playing for a crowd like that would have to make you high.

Here is a doubleshot to wet your appetite. It is 2/5 AC/DC. Brian Johnson and Cliff Williams. Doing something for music charity. Called Classic rock cares. The first one is "Chaingang on the Road"

Then there is this kool little tune called "Who phoned the Law"

These are for a little Movie Brian Johnson produced. It is a Pot U Mentry. A pot comedy documentry. You can download these free by searching for the movie "Totally Baked"

The forum code is apparently not formatting my youtube posts consistently. I've had to give up trying to post a video several times in the past week or so. Some dirtbag is riding the server, I do suspect.

Huuuuuumongous crowd!!! Can you imagine the parking? LOL!

Excellent.. thank you!

Since your orig post I've been thinking about that wedding party, and what a party it was..

Funniest memory was that our bosses from work (what me work?) were obligatory invitees. Hehehe.

Why, they were shocked, SHOCKED I tell you...... that fun could be had by subordinate sort of dregs..

Then show up Monday morning, all properly twisted and bright to be caretakers for our betters... :::rolling eyes::::

Still cracks me up.

My daughter house sits for, and we are friends with Glen, whose sister, I am told, married the lead guitar player, Don? something or other.

He gave Glen a BMW convertible, for some birthday or something, which, when my daughter and he drove up in I felt like I was doing a poor job of being a parent.

But what could I do?

You would have to know Glen.

This is neither here nor there, but I still have the original Australian release of High Voltage, which was released about a year before the International version was released. I found it at a used record shop in New Orleans back in the early 80's. The album cover shows a dog pissing on a high voltage transformer (at least I think it's supposed to be a transformer).

I am a huge early AC/DC fan, but thought the death of Bonn Scott was the death of the band. While Back in Black was a good album, neither the music nor the lyrics of the Brian Johnson era compare with that of the Bonn Scott era.

I saw that album cover on a youtube video. I'm not sure which era I like better. I've always like Bon Scott. But I like Brian Johnson too.

You ever heard Safe in New York City?

I thought the Stiff Upper Lip album was a bluesy album.

I don't dislike them now, I'm just not a big fan anymore like I was. I grew up in the 70's so when Scott died and Johnson took over, it was kind've like your ol' man dying and your mom going out and getting remarried. LOL!

Yeah, I've heard that song, although the video was "Stiff Upper Lip," not "Safe in New York City." Both of those songs are pretty good. I thought Back in Black was a great album, but "For those about to rock we salute you" sucked really bad. Most of the other albums have one or two good songs, but like I said, overall they just aren't the same.
