AC/DC will be releasing their new album later this year. This is a tribute to the greatest Rock Band of all time. No one plays with their energy. No one even come s close. So sit back and enjoy what Rock N Roll was meant to be.
Lets start it off with Riff Raff off of their Powerage album.
This is neither here nor there, but I still have the original Australian release of High Voltage, which was released about a year before the International version was released. I found it at a used record shop in New Orleans back in the early 80's. The album cover shows a dog pissing on a high voltage transformer (at least I think it's supposed to be a transformer).
I am a huge early AC/DC fan, but thought the death of Bonn Scott was the death of the band. While Back in Black was a good album, neither the music nor the lyrics of the Brian Johnson era compare with that of the Bonn Scott era.
I saw that album cover on a youtube video. I'm not sure which era I like better. I've always like Bon Scott. But I like Brian Johnson too.
I don't dislike them now, I'm just not a big fan anymore like I was. I grew up in the 70's so when Scott died and Johnson took over, it was kind've like your ol' man dying and your mom going out and getting remarried. LOL!
Yeah, I've heard that song, although the video was "Stiff Upper Lip," not "Safe in New York City." Both of those songs are pretty good. I thought Back in Black was a great album, but "For those about to rock we salute you" sucked really bad. Most of the other albums have one or two good songs, but like I said, overall they just aren't the same.
