Years ago, I had a dog that I wasn't supposed to have because the apartment did not allow peta.

I kept him hidden for two years, then the landlord caught me and told me to get rid of him or get out.

I said I had given him away, but continued to hide him. I hid him in a gym bag when I left and entered the apartment.

Kept him hidden for another year, then the damn landlord snuck in the apartment when I was gone, went through the cabinets and found his food and bowl (which I was hiding) and told me to get out.

So I moved to a place that allowed pets, and the landlord couldn't rent my old apartment for over a year.

It does not pay to cross Turtle!!!

I tried to hide a cat, but she refused to cooperate.

She was an exibitionist, and loved to sun herself in the window.

The manager noticed this, and demanded that I get rid of the cat, per the rental agreement.

I said, what cat?

She said, the cat in the window.... (as I stood in front of her bowls on the floor).

She said, do you have a cat? No, but I agreed to care for one. So it's not yours? No, do cats ever have owners? Noooooooooooo.. I MEAN, was the cat in the window your personal cat or were you taking care of it for someone else?

I said, she spends her time looking at the cat in your moms window across the way.

Silence.

You know, we put new carpet in this unit before you moved in... Yes, and I like it! You'll be responsible for damage. Yes, I know.. I will clean as promised when or if I ever move, but then I did pay a deposit.

But you aren't allowed pets.

Well, I didn't think anyone else was either.

Silence.

Don't make a mess.

Please, come inspect anytime...

but.......

don't let the cat out..

;)

Cat haters wind up in hell...

I had a tennant who had a cat when she came. I said sure, one cat, as long as it is clean...

A month later it was 2 cats... then 2 cats and a ferret... all running around loose together.

Well one day the ferret gets out of the house, and my dog gets it and gives it a good shaking by the neck. Well, her kids are all upset, so we take it to the vet and on the way, it dies. The kids aren't with us, so I take this woman all over CT looking for a ferret that looks like this one. We find one close enough (her kids are young, oh and my wife was watching them) and it costs me $200.

Then I build them a great big beautiful cage for it like 6 feet long, 4 feet high with levels and tunnels... and I tell the kids, don't let the ferret out cuz next time he might not be so lucky. ;)

A week later, the ferret is out, the dog gets it, shakes it around, but only breaks its hip. The woman takes the ferret to the vet and then presents ME with a bill. I was like, sorry lady, once is enough. It's on you this time.

Eventually she drove me nuts, and trashed my apartment, and I paid her to get out. When she was gone, the entire apartment stunk like cat piss, and ferret shit. Those animals destroyed the place.

I HATE cats, and I HATE ferrets now.

Cat and ferret lovers are going to hell. :p

Did eaten songbird claw its way through hawk?

Bird of prey found dead along road had claw sticking through its chest

It appears to be a Cooper's Hawk.

Here's an interesting fact about them:

"Dashing through vegetation to catch birds is a rather dangerous lifestyle. A recent study found that 23 percent of all Cooper's Hawks examined had healed fractures in the bones of the chest, especially of the furcula or wishbone."

Because hawks don't swallow their prey whole (with the possible exception of insects) this photo is not depicting a bird that "clawed its way out". More than likely it had the misfortune of colliding with a vehicle that drove the prey into the hawk's chest. The clue is "found dead along road".

I also found a dead female Cooper's hawk near a road. Apparently they get preoccupied while hunting and don't realize that they're in the path of an approaching vehicle, and if the impact happens a certain way this is what results.

Irresponsible pet owners like that aren't 'cat lovers', or any other kind of animal lover...this woman was just a self-centered b*tch who had no respect for the property of others, and, as usual, the pets take the heat.

She should've never had pets in the first place. Sorry you had to pay for so much damage. I don't think it's the cat or ferrets fault. :(
