Don't be fooled. Just because they say they are Republicans does not make it so.

Absolutely right. Who knew Bush was actually a Nazi? I did, but that's only because I had made a study of the history of the family when they first started creeping me out more than 20 years ago.

Republican credentials might be questionable

Meaning what? That they won't lick the boots and coronate GOP nominee John McCain?

Oh dear, I saw this one coming.

If McCain loses, it's going to be all RP's fault. He'll "steal" Mcnuts votes via write ins and the GOP idiots will have another excuse to deflect away from the truth of why they lost.

Once the Obama vs Hillary mess is cleared up, one or the other will be left. That's it. McCain faces RP bleeding away needed votes. How many he'll bleed is anyone's guess, but I'll put down $5 right now that says the FReeker talking point will be that every single RP voter would have gone with McCaniac had the good Dr. bowed out.

Good lord, the next 4 years are going to suck.

I hate it when a moron yellow dog Democrat or Republican accuses third party candidates of "stealing" votes - as if those votes belonged to the party nominee. They can't just admit that the GOP and Democratic parties run lousy candidates in the general election, so instead they blame losses on Nader, Perot, Buchanan, Paul, or whoever else.

That's it. McCain faces RP bleeding away needed votes

Neither Ron Paul nor anyone else would be bleeding anything away. The people who write in Ron Paul or vote for Constitution/Libertarian candidates wouldn't vote for McCain anyway.

How many delegates does RP have. PA wasn't a winner take all state, did he pick up any more there?

I don't have my 'ear' to the ground here in Idaho so as to get a feel for who the right side of the aisle believes in and/or will go for. I think many rank and file are still in shell shock over Wide Stance Craig.

One nice thing about voting your conscience is that you don't have to go back and say something like, "I'm sorry I voted for that bastard last time, but I won't ever again".

Actually, I believe we will be seeing a change here in Idaho. It only takes a couple of 'big cities' here to make a difference.........and Boise is such a wuss city. Lots of environuts. I don't believe we have quite a million people yet, but the ones coming the last few years have been libruls! :(

Our Republican Central Committee people are being challenged by a group of Ron Paul devotees whose Republican credentials might be questionable.

Yeah, they might be true conservatives.

“President Bush has talked about our staying in Iraq for 50 years,” “Maybe a hundred ... ... that’d be fine with me,” McCain responds
Hillary: "I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran in the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them."

The maggots are fleeing their nests now that they've shit in them. Unfortunately, most of them are too stupid to realize that it was the policies they push which made their former homes the shitholes they left.

Don't worry though. They will immediately begin trying to turn your state into the state they fled. At least that's what the yankees did when they invaded the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina.

Oh, I know how that goes...........lived through a good bit of it in Montana, and now here in Idaho. They're all leaving the Hell Hole they lived in, but then wind up wanting to bring all that baggage with them.

Yeah, the established Central Committee here in Twin Falls is real scared...rightfully so...I was out campaigning for Ron Paul in Twin Falls the other day and came across the home of the current Republican Central Committee person (Laird Stone) and found an Obama sign in his front yard!!

Following Mrs Hempleman's statements you would expect that her fellow Republican Central Committeemen (and Women) would be wholeheartedly behind the Republican platform, and you could conclude that it would be deceptive to represent otherwise, such as displaying a campaign sign for the opposing Democrat...less they themselves are the "wolves in sheep clothing"

Twin Falls Precinct 8. Laird Stone 275 Lincoln St. ,Twin Falls, 83301 733-5533 (733-2721) Found on this site: http://www.twinfallscounty.org/p...20central%20committee.pdf

Laird Stone is thee current Republican Central Committeeman Confirmed his address again on http://www.whitepages.com/search...te_id=ID&localtime=survey

I was indeed on his street...http://files.meetup.com/671351/Lincolnst.JPG And here is his house...http://files.meetup.com/671351/T...an%20Supports%20Obama.JPG

Who is the wolf in sheep's clothes? Laird Stone

Would you both have been happy if "the current Republican Central Committee person (Laird Stone)" had a McCain sign instead?

Even though Ron Paul answered (when asked by Blitzer) that Obama was "slightly better" than Hillary or McCain because of his foreign policy.

One thing I did not mention was that Mr Stone was polled the month before by Ron Paul campaign coordinator, to determine who to position candidates against in the primary, and Laird Stone said he "supported, as a Republican, John McCain."

I don't much care what sign he has, although I find it ironic given the current charge against Ron Paulers (being wolves in sheep cloths) and then finding an elected official that is elected to represent a conservative platform, and yet he is blatantly liberal.

Does that answer your question?

I still do not understand that charge, it's so absurd. Perhaps though, this Republican is not a "blatant liberal" but merely anti Iraq war.
