It's strange that he didn't mention Barr. He noted that both Hillary and Obama voted to fund the troops in Iraq but, on balance, he found Obama 'better'.

Nothing prevented him from stating that both Hillary and Obama were bad and that he was planning to vote for Barr in November.

But:

- he did not refuse to answer the question, because he was still running for prez.
- he did not mention Barr
- he did not state that all 3 were bad

- he expressed a preference for Obama. Period. This is as good as an endorsement from someone still running for the same job.
