First, he told Blitz that he can't endorse McCain.
Then, Blitz asked him which one he prefers, of the 2 Demos. RP said that he picks Obama because he's slightly better which is EXACTLY what I've been saying for quite a while.
You're mean, you prolly colluded with those fat Buick fuckers against me and my kitten.
Nope, wasn't me. I like cats too. Never drove a Buick. I did have to drive a Delta88 for drivers school. I think that's a flatlanders version of a tank. They made us make 3 point turns in the parking lot at the doctors office. Offices... we had two of them.
The delegate system is not mobocracy, unlike what MSM informs us it is. This whole thread is a total waste of time, IMHO.
Not trying to be contrary, but I've almost been arrested several times for disagreeing with that premise. Police around here don't seem partial to Motorhead, especially telling them to shove it, you know they might as well love it.

Then you'll help me find the true culprits?

the people at these conventions pretend they play by the rules, and they are on public display.
That's the main reason I dropped out of Ron Paul meetup group - I can't imagine going to state GOP convention whistling old Peter Gabriel tunes and meaning it. Yet I'd feel compelled.

Or they'll flog you... it's the browbeating for votes brigade. I don't think it's working.
If you don't vote for Obama, then you might as well pick up your hood. However, I read today, Obama is technically an Arab-American. Since we are relying on math. So, I'm not sure what our new outfit will be.

Send me some money and grilled cheese sammiches or I'll say you hate kittens!

I'm actually a pretty peaceful guy, but I know joining GOP would not bode well for me.

If I wanted to lie that much I might as well join an organized political party. Or sell Amway.

Yeah, I hate the idea of having joined the GOP, but it's just more BS to get the job done.
I won't fault anyone for doing so, it's only way Ron Paul can win, but it's not something I can do. I'd power vomit and break things, just wouldn't go over well with rank and file members.

it's going to be difficult for me to be civil in their presence, but I'll manage.
Someone needs to, thanks for trying.

I was in a chat-room this afternoon with a man who is a parliamentarian, coaching RP delegates how to conduct selves at conventions, and what the Roberts Rules are. Knowledge of how the meetings are to be conducted is an ace for those in-the-know. RP delegates are more informed and discipined than any others, and thus---we can accomplish much, and we will.
Come see me and and bring your wife and we'll go to a local black and tan pub or two (with a somewhat more "mature" clientèle") and you'll find performers you can relate to.
Thanks so much for the invite - but with health, and travel constraints, we'll have to ask you guys to join us down here.
but don't you think that most was better pre the Great Society?
I think we're better off, Grace Slick never would have hooked up with Paul Kantner had Great Society had a hit record.

Again, that's great, but I'd probably be scheming to dose them, Grateful Dead style. On the other hand, a few minutes of McCain singing White Rabbit on TV might garner more than a few votes for Chuck Baldwin. Count me in! :)

Yeah, If I stayed sober it would be much easier to dose the delegates!
That's not what you meant? :)

being sober is for idiots. I hope you finished that fifth.
Revelation 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and [see] thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
Long ago you painted a portrait of yourself here on 4um. It has not changed. Everyone saw it. It is still there.
Whatever... your remarks are unimportant because this thread is not about me but about Dr. Paul calling Dr. McCain 'unsupportable' and declaring Dr. Obama superior to Dr. Hillary.
Your fantasies about my self-portrait' have nothing to do with this explosive and important development or with the socially-accepted version of reality.
I know that we are where we are, in our country, and I don't know your age, but don't you think that most was better pre the Great Society?
You hit it out of the park there, lodwick.
IMO, LBJ is the only Prez in our history who challenges GWB for worst ever. He set the Black culture and community back a hundred years with his misguided policies. He will forever be the personification of "white guilt", the label some attempt to slap on me.

And to underline the sad (fear filled) state to which our nation has sunk, our kids think we are nuts to still occasionally be going to these bistros to hear some good music.

I did not mean to imply you said it...just providing some continuity. However, I certainly would have issued a disclaimer as well. I appreciate your comments.

Thank you.
