Every once in a while there is an event that perfectly encapsulates the nature of the people who rule over us from our Imperial Capital. There are pretty much glaring examples of this or that federal politician's maliciously evil nature every day in our corporate media and one could spend all day, every day, breaking down their sickening actions and statements and exposing them for the corrupt lying degenerates they are. But occasionally one story appears that clearly shows how the entire lot of them, regardless of party affiliation, are a bunch of delusional criminal sociopaths.
The story that I think is a perfect snapshot in time that fully captures the evil that is our federal government is here.
"Opposition" to the war in Iraq? What is it? How does the "opposition" manifest their displeasure with a war that was started on lies, that is a robbery in progress, that has seen the codification of torture into our legal system, that has produced a million dead Iraqis, two million more (at least) displaced, and Iraqi city after Iraqi city reduced to rubble and a population living in raw sewage and brought to peonage universally wishing Saddam Hussein was back in power?
Here's what passes for "Antiwar" measures taken by our really real opposition party- the Democrats:
Congress’ frustration with the war in Iraq will come through loud and clear when the Senate Armed Services Committee begins writing its annual defense authorization bill on Tuesday.
Both Democratic and Republican lawmakers are expected to endorse a provision that would demand that the Iraqi government of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki foot more of the country’s reconstruction costs.
"Loud and Clear"! The "frustration" of Congress with the war is being expressed by calling for the Potemkin fraud government of Iraq to pony up money for the rebuilding of their country- destroyed by the United States.
It really boggles the mind. Nowhere in that article is anything approaching sympathy expressed for the Iraqi people. Nowhere is there even anything approaching self examination. They really can't get any more away from reality than this.
Let's forget for a moment the moral squalor this demand that Iraq pay for it's own rape represents. How about the fact that the Iraq government is powerless and can't explain where Iraq oil money even goes? How about the fact the US is stealing that oil? Is Congress even aware that this "government" doesn't do anything? That it has rebuilt nothing? That it literally is a fraud that doesn't even have the power to stop pork from being served in the Green Zone?
Oh they know. I know this. So then they know this. So then what is this "demand" all about? It is a staged produced play. It is meant to mimic debate on the war. Like every such bill has been.
Every single act of this government in Iraq is predicated and built upon lies. Thus nothing they do will ever "solve" anything. They fundamentally refuse to address anything in Iraq from a standpoint of reality and rather insist on operating from assumptions that are flatly and obviously false. And they know they are false!
Which is why I believe the intentions of the US in Iraq are far darker. They want more Iraqis to die. They want that country depopulated. What this government says are their intentions are so obviously not that one would be remiss to not assign them the worst of intentions and motivations.
Side point. I have written before on the almost total lack of foreign voices in our media despite the technology for enabling this never being cheaper or more affordable. Almost any "moderate" from the Moslem world who emerges or any significant critic from any country will invariably be impeached and dismissed by the usual suspects because they have expressed doubts about the US Government's 9/11 storyline.
Any skepticism about 9/11 is immediate grounds for dismissal in our media. So much as ask a question and you will never appear in American media again as anything but a 9/11 conspiracy kooker. Literally dozens of foreign academics, jouranlists, politicains, and others have been dismissed in our media in this way.
Well, maybe this is news to some people. But 9/11 Skpeticism isn't unacceptable pretty much anywhere in the world. Only in the US, Canada, and the UK does any expression of doubt make one not a "serious responsible" observer of events.
You know what the rest of the world sees when it comes to 9/11? They see a country that acts like it has something to hide. They see a country that has tried exactly one person for the biggest mass murder of American civilians in history - and he was half a retard with a history of mental illness who spoke in tongues during his trial. They see a country that has since hid the "masterminds" in dungeons for going on 7 years now and admitted to torturing them and they still hadn't seen a lawyer as of April of this year- not seen ANYONE not approved and vetted by the government. They see a country that won't hold public trials for these guys, that is going to allow "evidence" obtained under torture used against them violating the most basic of legal norms, and that has created a whole new special court system just for them!
In short they see a country that is too afraid to even put on public show trials of these guys!
Since having questions about 9/11 is an immediate blackball in our controlled media for any foreigner we get damn few foreign voices in our media. Sorry to tell you if you didn't know this- but half the world smells something rotten about 9/11 and not "kooks" either.
