Huckabee should be at the top of the list if McCain wants to win. That guy will give him most of the south.

You nailed it. Only makes sense. It is a balance for not allowing a black man on the other side of the party slate, and, it balances having a woman at the head of the other side. That shows the United States voters that it really is not that odd having a woman run for this office. That way, when Hillary is crowned, everything will look more or less 'kosher.' I mean, sure, there will be a few around like those kooks at 4um talking about votescam and such.... but the sheeple will buy it.

That will never happen. The Repubs and Dems must be seen as different or the sheeple might start to catch on. At the start of this election cycle I would have said McCain had a better shot at being struck by lighting than being the next President. Now I think his chances are about 50%, which is amazing. I am not voting for any of the three establishment candidates, but if I had to choose the one I think would be the lesser of the three evils, it would be McCain.

I have 2 words to indicate the perfect running mate for McCain: TERRY SCHIAVO It makes so much sense, it's scary. She's younger to his older, she's a lot less into war to his warmongering, she's a woman to his man, she's low maintenance to his high... there's so much balance between the 2.
