'STOLE A WIFE' EX-HUBBY: HE COUNSELED US, THEN WED HER By SUSANNAH CAHALAN and VERONICA HINKE 32; FUROR: Fire-breathing Chicago pastor Jeremiah Wright (left) reportedly met his wife Ramah (right) after he counseled her and then-husband Delmer Reed in 1983. The Reeds divorced soon after the sessions. 32;32;32; 32;32;32;32;32;32; 32; May 4, 2008 -- The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama's loose cannon of a spiritual adviser, stole the wife of a parishioner - after the man sought Wright's help in saving his troubled marriage, the former husband told friends. Delmer Reed, 59, confided to pals that he believed the minister moved in on his wife while Wright was counseling the couple at his Chicago church in the early 1980s, The Post has learned. "That's exactly how he said it," Reed's divorce lawyer, Roosevelt Thomas, told The Post. "It looks like Delmer might have been right," he said, because after Delmer and Ramah Reed were divorced, she got remarried - to Wright. "Either that or this was the biggest coincidence in the world." Asked about the relationship between Wright and his ex-wife, Reed told The Post, "Oh, the things I could tell you." Initially, he didn't believe the rumors. "People were telling me that my extremely attractive wife was seen with the pastor," Reed said. "But I didn't believe it. I thought, 'So what?' " Was he wrong in the end? "Well, yeah," he said. Asked if Wright broke up his marriage, Reed laughed, then said, "I told my kids I wouldn't say anything to hurt their stepfather, so I'm not saying anything." But he said he's been hounded by the press and "offered money" to tell his story. A spokesman for the Wright family flatly denied the allegation yesterday. "This story has no merit whatsoever and is not based on facts," said George Lofton. "They had problems throughout the course of their turbulent marriage, and the couple never received marriage counseling from Rev. Wright or anyone else." But Reed, a former investigator for the Illinois secretary of state, told The Post he and his ex-wife went to Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ for counseling when their marriage hit the skids over his demanding work schedule. "I spoke with [Wright] four times over a few months," Reed said in an interview at his upscale home in Lemont, Ill. "Her father asked me to go to counseling. We thought we'd be together forever. I decided to try to work this out." Asked if he's forgiven the pastor, Reed nodded. "I let it go," he said. "I don't want my kids to hear anything negative about their stepfather."

How many on here do you think really support Obama? I think I have counted less than ten (several fewer than ten actually) who are openly supporting him. Not that I have read all the posts or even all the threads but it doesn't seem like any of the establishment's candidates have many, if any, supporters on here. And I think that is a good thing.
Liberty is not a means to a higher political end. It is itself the highest political end. Ten operatives posting incessantly drives away new readers who don't ascribe the the crimminal's choices for us. It thwarts meaningful discussion about how to change the course the crimminals have charted. It's insidious and disruptive.

Counting those that are too timid to stand out in direct sunlight, there are ten or more. Most of whom I named nearly a year ago. When the bell rings, they will fall into lockstep and support and vote for Clinton/Obama...
Well, there are other examples, so I guess...it's possible. People can check out the link and read it with their own eyes.. Heck I didn't know anything about the Chicago machine till a few days ago. It's ugly out there.
McInsand hangs out with a warmonger mass murderer named Bush. Hillary voted to support Bushes insane war. Obama supports a Global Tax that subsidize Genocidal Governments like Mugabe's. How is that better? He votes yes for war funding. He fought a ban on partial birth abortion. And there is the issue of patient dumping.. but, he is somehow a BETTER cONdidate, and I just don't see it. He is as bad, as the other two.. and the little gem of 'getting out of Iraq', is certainly in line with what most Americans and the rest of the world want, but he speaks with forked tongue with respect to redeploying forces and adding to them. He has not repudiated the First Strike policy. So.. theres more, but that off the top of my head.

Many years ago, before I converted, my pastor (perhaps my all-time favorite one) divorced his wife and married the church secretary. He was/is a fine person but this marked the end of time at that church, and I suppose rightly so. He was an older, easy going, fisherman type fella with a grand sense of humor. A couple of of us guys kiddingly asked him if he had strolled down to an X-rated movie house that had opened in the neighborhood, to which he replied "No I think I'll just wait till they're on TV" .... he was pretty close to right, of course. I miss him.

Im votin Ventura, Baldwin or maybe Barr. It still doesn't negate my opinion that Obama is slightly better then Hillary or McCain. That doesn't mean he is good. And if Hannity and Rush are so afraid of him. Then there is a 1 percent chance that I just may vote for him in the general. We are screwed regardless. Maybe Obama would be a more interesting turn of events. Maybe not. But like I said we are screwed anyways.

For a person who claims to be doing nothing more than taking a gamble with Obama, you sure have lots of vested interest in him. When I plop down $5 bucks on a roulette wheel, I don't do a lot of thinking about winning or losing. A smile or a shrug is the end result of my gamble, not some long, tortured examination of the actual bet. But that's me.

Consider, the soundbites played over and over are taken from 36 years of preaching. Wright's sermons were not one controversial statement after another, as MSM and Fox News would have people believe. Obama has spoken out against Wright's divisive statements. Now he has even further distanced himself from Wright. From all that Obama has said about race, including his outstanding speech on race when the Wright controversy was first reported, he is most certainly not a racist.

Well, I think he is a neo-con... but that's beside the point. You are right.. Dear Barry: My heart has been crushed so many times before, I have almost lost count. It seems like every four years I get in a serious relationship with a new guy; it starts with infatuation but he invariably turns out to be a boozer, an abuser, or a loser, and I am left to pick up the pieces. I swear sometimes I must be cursed or subconsciously a masochist. Finally, though, I think I may have met Mister Right. He's tall and dark and handsome, with this mysterious, dreamy, rugged faraway look in his eye that tells me he is THE ONE. Whenever he needs to borrow my car, or some money for his experimental jazz project, he always looks deep in my eyes and says "thank you" in that smoky baritone, and I swear I think I'm going to melt. Long story short, we've moved in together. But now that I've finally found true love, some of my so-called "friends" have been less than supportive. Most of them are very positive, but a few have lately been "warning" me that he's no good, and hangs out with a bad crowd, and blah blah blah. How do I deal with this kind of petty jealousy? Also, when would be a good time for me to ask my new boyfriend what his name is? Puzzled in Washington Dear Puzzled: Don't listen to the nay-sayers! I say follow your heart, and hop on your dreamboat tramp steamer for a mystery love cruise to Fantasy Island. Well first, he attended the church for 20 years, never once hearing a nasty comment. Sure. Second, he married Obama and the racist Michelle. Then Barry asked Wright to baptise his children, which was quickly followed by an appointment to Obama's African American Religious Leadership Committee. Finally, he was at Obama's presidential announcement, where they prayed together immediately before the announcement. So see? There's much more of a relationship here than you can admit.
They're somewhat intelligent; they just have an agenda and there are more than a couple of 'em here.
