Title: Heidi Cullen Openly Advocates Using Weather Channel for Propaganda

At least the Weather Channel's leftist "climate expert" Heidi Cullen is forthcoming about her belief that even weather reports and Google Earth should bend to her political agenda.

At a circle jerk entitled "Covering a Changing Climate: The Media Challenge," Cullen announced that TWC's Weather.com is "the most powerful tool that exists" for duping the gullible into believing in the global warming hoax. She wants to use Google Earth to simulate the catastrophic changes that would allegedly occur if the hoax were real.

The Weather Channel's founder John Coleman has loudly denounced the increasingly preposterous hoax, even pointing out that Al Gore ought to be sued for fraud. But the outfit has been taken over by moonbats like Cullen, who is "horrified" that her objectivity has been questioned, despite being such a bare-knuckle ideologue that she called for meteorologists who won't play along with the hoax to be silenced with decertification.

Meanwhile, desperate hoaxers have been forced to admit there won't be any global warming for the next seven years — but after that we're really in trouble unless we cough up more money now.

Cullen proves that with moonbats, even the weather is a lie. (1 image)

The Weather Channel, one of the last privately owned cable channels, is being put up for sale and could fetch more than $5 billion, according to people briefed on the auction. The channel and its rapidly growing Web site, weather.com, are already attracting interest from some of the biggest names in media, including NBC, a unit of General Electric; the News Corporation; and Comcast, these people said.

The sale of the Weather Channel, these people said, is part of a larger breakup of its parent, Landmark Communications, a privately held company controlled by the Batten family of Norfolk, Va., which also owns daily newspapers and other media properties. Landmark’s newspaper holdings include The Virginian-Pilot in Norfolk, The News & Record of Greensboro, N.C., and The Roanoke Times in Virginia, as well as 50 other community newspapers. The company, which does not release its earnings, generated $1.75 billion in revenue in 2006 and has 12,000 employees, according to Hoover’s.

JPMorgan Chase is advising Landmark on the sale of the Weather Channel.

Weather Channel price forecast looks a bit high

By Bill Choyke The Virginian-Pilot © May 4, 2008

The latest line on how much The Weather Channel will fetch is looking more in the $3.5 billion to $4 billion range.

Reuters news service reported last week that CBS Corp. and General Electric Co.’s NBC Universal are among “less than five strategic bidders” participating in the second round. Even at $4 billion, that would be $1 billion below the starting point for bids touted in early January by Decker Anstrom, COO and president of Norfolk-based Landmark Communications Inc., which owns The Weather Channel.

Oh. I almost forgot. In case you think I’m just over-reacting, check this out.

Last year, Dr. Eric R. Pianka gave a speech to the Texas Academy of Science in which he advocated the need to exterminate 90% of the population through the airborne ebola virus.

From The Citizen Scientist Forrest M. Mims III

Meeting Doctor Doom Professor Pianka said the Earth as we know it will not survive without drastic measures. Then, and without presenting any data to justify this number, he asserted that the only feasible solution to saving the Earth is to reduce the population to 10 percent of the present number.

He then showed solutions for reducing the world’s population in the form of a slide depicting the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. War and famine would not do, he explained. Instead, disease offered the most efficient and fastest way to kill the billions that must soon die if the population crisis is to be solved.

Pianka then displayed a slide showing rows of human skulls, one of which had red lights flashing from its eye sockets.

AIDS is not an efficient killer, he explained, because it is too slow. His favorite candidate for eliminating 90 percent of the world’s population is airborne Ebola ( Ebola Reston ), because it is both highly lethal and it kills in days, instead of years. However, Professor Pianka did not mention that Ebola victims die a slow and torturous death as the virus initiates a cascade of biological calamities inside the victim that eventually liquefy the internal organs.

After praising the Ebola virus for its efficiency at killing, Pianka paused, leaned over the lectern, looked at us and carefully said, “We’ve got airborne 90 percent mortality in humans. Killing humans. Think about that.”

With his slide of human skulls towering on the screen behind him, Professor Pianka was deadly serious. The audience that had been applauding some of his statements now sat silent.

After a dramatic pause, Pianka returned to politics and environmentalism. But he revisited his call for mass death when he reflected on the oil situation.

http://www.sas.org/tcs/weeklyI.....index.html

How much more do we need to hear? And then the Liberals at the Democratic Underground Defended him…of course.

Pianka said he was only trying to warn his audience that disease epidemics have happened before and will happen again if the human population growth isn’t contained.

He said he believes the Earth would be better off if the human population were smaller because fewer natural resources would be consumed and humans wouldn’t continue to destroy animal habitats. But he said that doesn’t mean he wants most humans to die.

Really? Didn’t he? These people are dangerous! Just guess who the %10 who get to live are. Liberal Elitist!

I know this is mostly way off topic, but I felt a need to inform those who may be falling for all the lefts lies and what they’re “real” intentions are. Those liberals who are not part of the %10 are just “Useful Idiots” to the elites anyway.
