You refuse to allow the same amount of fairness for Obama that you dispense to Catholics. Obama's pastor Wright may have done something wrong. Catholics have priests who may have done something wrong. No one blames the Catholics. Only you blame Obama (and as you just said, Wright's entire congregation). Let me explain your confusion in other words. The catholics, upon learning of their priest's wickedness, want to throw them out on their asses. Catholics who support their priest after knowing what he is deserve the criticism they get. The Wright church people support their pastor because of what he peaches...open racial hatred. His character is also revealed by the NYP story. Obama went to this church for 20 years and Wright preached the same racial hatred for 20 years. Obama supported hs pastor knowing what he is. Obama deserves the criticsm he is getting. But, it's beside the point. He's a part of the dog and pony show designed to distract from the important issues of the day.
The difference you aren't capable of grasping is that one is a crime, committed in private, and settled out of public view, while Wright's racism is played out publicly, in the pulpit and the media - at his request. I find you the hypocrite; decrying the Youtube string, while ignoring Wright's unedited, live media hate blitz last week. If the blacks Wright preached to were Illegals, complete with a Mexican Mariachi Band as a chorus, you'd still be the old robin.

It was about a rumor that he had stolen another man's wife. If it is wrong to blame Catholics for the wrong some of their priests did, then it is wrong to blame Wright's congregation for the wrong that Wright did. It's that simple.

You posted a thread about the BEHAVIOR (supposedly stealing another man's wife) of Rev. Wright - NOT about what he said. Let's try again. If it is wrong to blame Catholics for what some of their priests DID (not said or believed). Then it is wrong to blame Rev. Wright's congregation for what Rev. Wright DID (not said or believed). It is very simple logic here.

Some of you or rather all of you (still that generic 'you') keep throwing the "there's not one dime worth of difference between the three", to which I reply: remove the dogmatic blinders and look around. Yes, Dr. O is a bit of a socialist because he is a democrat but, remember, presidents don't get to appropriate one dollar, it's the congress that appropriates funds and there will be no socialism unless the congress funds it. However, presidents do have the power to bring our troops back home and avoid wasting trillions on ruinous military adventuresd and it is likely that Dr. O would ease our foreign wars burden if elected president. So, help save America. Get Obama in the WH so we don't get Hillary or McCain. There's trillions of dollars worth of difference between them. I really was caught by surprise myself when I suddenly found myself surrounded, on 4um, by people who apparently were all to happy to continue promoting the death of innocent people if that was the only cost to promoting "rights" for themselves.
