I am watching the Indiana/Carolina primaries returns. Hilly is leading in Indiana by some 14% and CNN already gave Carolina to Obama and they don't expect Hilly to do a double-digit in Indiana. All the big heads, including Hilly backers, it seems to me, are discussing Hilly as a has-been. Or, at least, that seems to be the mood. If Hilly loses Carolina big and she squeaks a win in NC, she may turn into the big heads' laughing stock if she keeps insisting that she's in for the win.

You mean squeak by in Indiana. The math has been against her for quite some time. Even splitting delegates evenly in these 2 states right now is a loss for her, and it seems she won't even do that.
Thank you. That's what I meant. The CNN's may know something. Her lead in Indiana is down to 8% now, with 52% of the ballots counted. Even Loudobbs who was as much a Hillarist as anyone else seemed subdued. Begala, a Hillarist had only good things to say about Obama and looks relaxed. Not one person representing Hillary's campaign showed up yet to discuss the returns.

I just heard on the radio that the county that Indiana University is in has been going 2-1 for Obama, and has only reported 43% of its votes.
Hillary is declaring victory (live) on MSNBC in Indiana.
It's funny, because maybe she lost.
Apparently the mayor of Gary has just said that there will be enough votes in his county to put Obama over the top in IN.
That would be sweet. I wish I could believe hizzoner.
Hilly''s lead now down to 19,000. He got 75% out of the 28% reported.
That just cut Hillary's lead in half. And there's still 9% left to report.
The county East of Lake is solid Hillary and they only reported 81%. The counts from Lake are all Gary. CNN says that the South portion of the county is more rural. It's not clear if all of Gary reported.
I heard only half of Gary has so far reported.

This kind of delusion should surely show she has a problem.

That's it then. Between 92 & 95% reporting she lost a lot of ground, but then between 95 & 99% she got all that back and *more* to win by over 22K votes! I guess we could say that in that final stretch she really pulled an upset of sorts. Wouldn't you agree, 20? I'm sure that's how Hillary will see it and call it, anyway. An upset victory!

Gone unnoticed: McCain took 78% in Indiana and 74% in N. Carolina. That's not great for a presumptive nominee running essentially unopposed.
Most Republicans will hold their nose and vote for McCain in the fall to stop national health care. I won't, but I completely understand what they are doing.

That can only happen if McCain lets it happen by not bringing out the dirt on him with Ayers. McCain may take a dive like Bob Dole, but that is yet to be seen. Somehow when this is all over I think Hillary will be the President one way or the other. Either by inheriting it when Obama has an "accident", or by beating McCain.
Ricky, I believe that you 'predicted' that Obama will be out by the end of this month. Are you still predicting that? I am asking because you advised me to 'watch and learn' and I agreed that I will be learning if that happened but I also suggested that you learn a thing or 2 if you turn out to be wrong. So... what do you say? What do you say?
Speaking of predictions, I wonder what will happen to all the predictions that Hillary would get the presidential nomination, and Obama would have to settle for the VP nomination. Betcha Cynicom never admits he was wrong. Just like Hillary never admits that she's wrong. Maybe I finally understand why he said he was going to vote for her.
