He's done what no one expected or thought possible - he's driven a stake through the heart of the Clinton machine. One crime family down, one to go. Bush-family proxy and crazed neocon Armageddonist, Senator John McCain, should be easy pickens. Now, what's this I've heard about RP+Obama supporters no longer being entirely welcome by some 4um posters? Say it ain't so! ;^) Tactical differences should not divide freedom-lovers. We share the same goals. So what if we disagree on how to get there? Purist non-voters like JT and chrissy would never vote for Obama, even if their abstention results in the neo-fascist GOP remaining unpunished and in power. Others (like me), find Obama to be an acceptable instrument for unleashing destructive wrath on the contemptable GOP (and their ranks of McCainiacal neo-con apocolypse-lusters). Such disagreements shouldn't split this good forum. What unites us is far greater than what divides us, right?

It is, however, very clear that few who participate here understand what dire straits this country is in. For those too young to remember what freedoms we have enjoyed in the past, start paying attention to what choices you have on your ballots. You think we, "the American people", chose those self-serving, ill-intending three to be the last remaining candidates looking to run for President? Hell no, we didn't choose them. You think we have a two party system in this republic? Hell no, just look at our choices. Back in the early 80s, I used to listen to Imus in the morning while I was stuck in 2 hour traffic jams going into NYC. Back then he had to play some music, and sometimes he even had to play a Barry Manilow song. In the background, he'd always play a parody of a hospital pa system announcement, "Dr. Camerada, please report to surgery, people are puking..." That's what threads like these remind me of. She makes a very logical case showing that Obama has at least made some anti- war sounds and at least promises to bring the troops home from Iraq in 16 months. But Jethro Tull also makes a good case that he is a puppet and he's lying. How we hate to vote for puppets who lie as we've done it before!!!!! Here's my latest thought that to me is key on Obama. He supports the ethanol subsidies and he supports their expansion as well. The ethanol subsidies are nothing but evil. Richard posted a story about them just a couple of days ago. The ethanol subsidies are going to kill tens of millions of people and that is obvious to anyone who looks carefully at them. As obama supports them, I don't see how I can vote for him. So now I'm back in the camp that says I won't taint myself by voting for any of the big 3 candidates left. I'll have to write in Ron Paul's name or vote for Chuck Baldwin if he's on the ballot in Arizona.

let me tell you about the old witch, Hilary Clinton. We don't know if she's dead until after the convention is over and she's not on the ticket. when we get there, then she's dead. Until then, we don't know. Because it is possible for 90% of the super-delegates to go for CLinton. It is possible that the voting from Michigan & Florida will be counted. The democrat leaders have arranged things so that in the end they can decide instead of the democrat voters. I'd assume the super-delegate rules were made to facilitate this and that the Michigan/Florida mis-haps were done on purpose so that in the end the party insiders at the top could be the king-makers as they desire.
