Michelle Vetoes Hillary By Robert Novak

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Close-in supporters of Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign are convinced he never will offer the vice presidential nomination to Sen. Hillary Clinton for one overriding reason: Michelle Obama.

The Democratic front-runner's wife did not comment on other rival candidates for the party's nomination, but she has been sniping at Clinton since last summer. According to Obama sources, those public utterances do not reveal the extent of her hostility.

A footnote: Support is growing in Democratic ranks for Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland as vice president. He would bring to the ticket maturity (66 years old), experience (six terms in Congress) and moderation (rated "A" by the National Rifle Association). He is very popular in Ohio, a state Republicans must carry to elect a president.

I think the whole thing was hair brained anyway. Clinton proved she's a bit power mad so Obama is better off without her. Lots of people can bring votes to the ticket. Obama is saved by a cat fight.

First, Hillary would NEVER accept second banana to anyone.

Obama is going to be in a bind by himself in Nov. Standing all alone with nothing but lip service from the Clintons and their backers, Obummer is a loser.

I wouldn't crown BHO just yet...the Clintons don't just leave things Standing in their way. I wonder if we're off script yet, because the ex-TRIMPOTUS and his womanoid would have never taken this particular part in the grand play IMO...still got some serious egos involved even at the highest CFR levels. There is still hell to pay and no one's seen the final tab yet...

I have always said that it will be ...Clinton/Obama... because it is a sure winner.

Obama alone is a sure loser. Crushing rejections by WV and KY of Obama may clear the muddy waters.

If America is destroyed, it may be by Americans who salute the flag, sing the national anthem, march in patriotic parades, cheer Fourth of July speakers - normally good Americans who fail to comprehend what is required to keep our country strong and free - Americans who have been lulled into a false security (April 1968).---Ezra Taft Benson, US Secretary of Agriculture 1953-1961 under Eisenhower

"Obama alone is a sure loser."

Obama with a Hillary on his back would have the harpy of discontent weighing him down like the dead albatross around the neck of the main character in 'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.'

He doesn't need that thing, nobody does. What you are saying is similar to saying that unless McCain taps Jeb Bush he's a goner.

Jeb also looks good at first glance, but by November, people would be passionate about not getting another Bush in the package deal as they are just plain sick of those monsters.

Hil would be a horrible number two to someone other then hubby who has had the years and experience to rein in this crone. She would be resentful in victory or defeat, and we all know the resentful and frustrated LBJ is more likely then not to have been part of the plot to off Kennedy to put him in the cat bird seat.

Hil is going home soon and will be just as poor a loser as she would be a VP candidate. I am resolutely against her being on the ticket. Barack Obama will win without her, as if he won with her that would be like being president with the managed disease of having a large malignant tumor sucking the very life out of the administration.

Just last week a big time Hollywooder, Harvey Weinstein, called Pelosi to demand Hillary be given more time and to stop pressuring Super D's, or else he'd cut his donations to House Dems and might throw his support behind McCain.

(Story: rawstory.com/rawreplay/? p=1003 )

As the story goes, Pelosi told him never to threaten her again.

So, apparently Weinsteins support has carried considerable weight in the past, at least enough that he has Pelosi's number.

What if Hollywood turns on Obama.....

I'll be curious to see if the media eases up a bit on Hilly.
