Dumb small town hill billies of Pa. sent Obama a message, tomorrow a stronger message will come from WV and KY. Somewhere along the line Rendell has to ring up the back room boys and tell them now is crunch time.
Obama takes Oregon, loses WV. They color it a wash.
Change doesn't always make things better. Often times, it makes things a heck of a lot worse.
Are both WV and KY tomorrow? She wins both. And why is she still beating up Obama for McKooK?
He wins w/a large black population and flip that with Hillary. It spells disaster in the Fall for Mr. O.

Obama's campaign tactics will be their own disaster. From what I can tell, that campaign is still playing "divide and conquer by geography" and saying different things to different people. This is the Internet age and data flows far and wide faster than even in 2004. The inconsistencies will be picked up and broadcast almost instantly. To win, all McCain has to do is be consistent while pointing out the hypocrisy of his opponent. I wish it wasn't that simple but it looks like it is. I also don't like giving McCain strategy tips, but there it is.

Agree. Guns were a huge part of the '94 revolution, never mind that silly 'contract.' If McCain sews up 2/3rds of the 70 million gun owners, promises to keep taxes low, and simply stays alive he wins. The Iraqi war is as stale as last weeks trash, unfortunately. McKooK wouldn't have beaten Hillary, IMO.
I'll say it doesn't matter much what happens in West Virginia tomorrow. But I'll also say those democrats who vote for Hilary are voting for a criminal who supports the tyrant state against us and the people of the whole world.

Here's why it matters, IMO. Obama has this thing all but won. She's spending her $ to score victories in WV and surly KY. Puerto Rico is hers too if she's still in. So, why is she still beating the guy up? McCain is being helped, obviously, but why is she doing it?? My guess is she wants Obama to lose.
Agreed, but the economy is on the front burner with most voters. And McCain is VERY weak on economic issues.

With the Iraq War, have you noticed that the MSM is now publishing more positive stories on it? When was the last time the MSM went bonkers over the war? Last year? When the media gives up on an issue you know something is going on.

Yep. Bad on illegals, bad on global capitalism, NAFTA, you name it. But where is Obama better? I think he's as clueless as the next guy on the economy, and far worse on social/domestic policy. His promise to shuffle troops from Iraq to Afghanistan is boob bait for the uninformed. I agree w/Hillary's electability argument. I think the Supers go for him for PC reasons, and hope for the best. I never would have thought it, but McCain can win.
And McCain is VERY weak on economic issues.

It's funny but with the high negatives for Hillary, being matched by the high negatives for Obama, still running a 50/50 contest with McStain, no candidate has all that much to crow about. Saw a clip of McCain today on the stump.. He's looking weirder than ever. One eye small and the other awake and shifty. He was sort of making a fist and waving it .. saying, I WILL NOT GIVE SHORT SHRIFT TO ISSUES THAT HAVE SHRIFTED, IN THE LONG 8 YEARS OF SHRIFTINESS... and oh yeah... Global Warning/uh.. Warming.. Because, it's a serious threat my friends. Then they cut to Obama saying, and uhhhhhhhhhh, then uhhhhhhhhhhh. I can see it now.... with a Hillary presidency, all marching bands, flag carriers, cheerleaders, and beauty contestants, will be wearing pantsuits.
I never would have thought it, but McCain can win.

Got that right! This whole presidential cycle has me about as pissed off as I have ever been. I get plenty of Obama flyers in the mail (which are great peepads for the new pup), but locally, I don't hear much about him. Has he even come to this state?
