I guess Kindasleezy is a good choice if you want an incompetent high paid go'fer.

However, as a black woman she neutralizes "Queen" Oh'bummer.

If the allegations of Oh'bummer's fagginess are substantiated he is done. The black community is not as accepting of homos as the white lib'rul hand wringers. If it is clearly proven that Oh'bummer is a fag or bi he is toast.

WV gave the nation the guards of Abu Ghraib. With such an ignorant, inbred retrograde mentality as that, Hillary's a natural for them.

WV is a human tragedy. My people, the Scots-Irish, are one of the backbones undergirding this country's formerly dominant culture of liberty. But something has gone terribly wrong with the kin we left behind in WV. First there was the separation of the ambitious, intelligent and able (who moved West to better lands) from the lazy, not-so-intelligent and not-so able (who stayed behind to eek out a bare subsistance in mountain hollers). Then, to make matters worse, the Yankees came with their special brand of "benevolence". Subverted politically and forcably pealed away from the Peidmont in order to facilitate the conquest of the Old Dominion, West Virginia became the original Banana Republic. While the Plantation aristocracy of the Peidmont didn't always cotton to these mountain folk or treat them particularly well, the Yankees were even worse. The state has been systematically raped for the benefit of Northern industry ever since, made into a hellish moonscape of blasted-away hills, smog- choked vales and deep dark mines. Thus, the people there (already disadvantaged and retrograde) became ever more so relative to the rest of the nation.

As a result, WV is the perfect constituancy for Hillary, McCain or any other traitor to the Republic. West Virginians are (for the most part) the most perfectly reconstructed (and, thus, totally exploited) white niggers in the Yankee empire. They may be the model for what DC would like to turn the rest of the nation (and world) into: dumb-as-stump labor who'll work to death in mines or fight to death in trumped-up wars, salute the flag and just keep on voting for the bastards who've made their lives a living hell with an unwavering teary- eyed patriotism. We Scots-Irish who got the hell out of there before it went completely to hell can only look back at our Eastern cousins with pity (and shame). They're only a faint echo (barely audible) of our ancestors, who defeated kings and emperors, would rather die than be any man's subject, serf or slave and were the first to set out into the Western wilderness and tame the American frontier.

Not even the land has been spared. Strip mining is a blight with destroys very beautiful and valuable land with no real financial return to the community that is left with badly 'reclaimed' land and no job to replace the ones that were involved with the destruction of the most important asset to any people, the very land they stand on.

I feel bad for the plight of West Virginia and have been watching the train wreck that is strip mining there for decades. I note Hillary would never knock a practice that makes many companies and their top executives and stock holders rich and piss them them off in the process.

I'm sure. Also some of the very worst. When the hero who exposed the Abu Ghraib abomination to the world came back to the West Virginia town that spawned both him and most of the monsters who tortured and abused prisoners there on command, he was welcomed home by death threats and had to go into hiding (somewhere other than WV).

There indeed are great people in WV, real American heros in the truest since of the word (like the Abu Ghraib whistleblower), but they appear to be an endangered minority these days.

con·de·scen·sion Is a learned trait not an inherited social more.

Being born a hill billy as I was, does not in any way carry a negative stigma, except in the eyes of people that that suffer from an inferior/superior need to distance themselves from some perceived class of people that they deem unfit.

The reverse is true, people that are born and live in the ghettos carry no stigma, it is their way of life and who am I to deem them unfit. Who is to say where and under what circumstance one must be born, live and die, that is acceptable to proper society?

I understand and accept your view.

I love hillbillies. I am a hillbilly too. But I hate Empire and what its done to my people. I blame it, not the people, for their pitiable condition. And when I see West Virginians do the things they did at Abu Ghraib and then try to lynch rather than praise the hero who exposed and stopped it, it makes my blood boil. That's about 180 degrees removed from everything our people have been fighting for (and against) for millennia.

Have you read Jim Webb's book "Born Fighting"? We Scots-Irish have such a proud heritage of standing up to and defeating Empire. That our people have now become some of its most loathsome (and infamous) agents is sickening beyond belief. Hence, my special, if unfair, rage against WV (but mainly against the Empire that has reduced her to so wretched a state).

I think it's appropriate to direct at least part of your rage to Senator Byrd and the Democratic machine he represents. That has in large part kept the state mired in socialism.

Ara...

I said before I UNDERSTAND and accept your view.

At times early in life I held the same view, until it dawned on me, there is no ONE culture in this country, there is no right or wrong, good or bad, what matters is that the people of any culture are HAPPY as a unit, harm no one else with their culture and live life as they see fit.

It is that inbred human trait of all of us that we have this inferior/superior trait to deal with. No one gets it right, we all do the best we can. Personally I have lived in the inner and outer sections of Frisco, New York, Baltimore and smaller cities. The native "hill billies" were happy and or content as they did not leave. The best understanding I have is of a banker that said he was at a loss as to why a farmer would work seven days a week for little money. He answered his own question. The bankers quest was for money, the farmer wanted a contented self contained life to manage on his own.

That's kinda funny. You actually believe the ones who engaged in that torture at Abu Ghraib are the kind of people who do much reading or who are easily shamed? My dad used to say you can't shame a hog and I reckon you would have just about as much luck shaming a hog as you would getting people like that to read or shame them for their actions.

As a matter of record..If you check to see who the General in charge was at the time of the WV girl that was torturing the Muslims, you will find it was a female, very highly educated, insurance and stock broker.

She was given a letter of reprimand and allowed to retire. Of course all of the torture went on without her knowledge. She nor any of her subs knew anything, not a lick, so the hill billy was made an example of and received 3 to 5.

Southern states have always contributed the lion's share of soldiers for every war. Most of the people who volunteered had honorable motives - they really believe that they were fighting and dying for righteous causes. As long as people have a "my country right or wrong," or rather, "my government right or wrong" attitude (because they're convinced that what's good for the administration is good for their country and folk), that's the way it's going to be.

The same qualities (physical courage) that tamed the wilderness, fought revolutionary wars, and wars of secession are the ones that are now being recruited to occupy Iraq, bomb Serbia, and threaten Iran with invasion. The first is what makes the second possible. The people and culture haven't changed, the causes and leaders have.

"my country right or wrong," ... "my government right or wrong"

That's the real trick, isn't it?

The promise, hope, and dream that is America is "my country" and should be defended.

The current administration, whoever it is, is made of fallible people and can be adjusted, dealt with, or thrown out of office.

So the real question is this - how do you get people to believe in America as opposed to believing in its politicians?

It seems most of our problems started when Lady Liberty was taken off of the coinage and replaced with the faces of dead politicians.

Is it possible to start reversing the damage with that simple act? Putting the face of Lady Liberty back on the coinage to remind people that they should be looking to ideals as opposed to people?

Change doesn't always make things better. Often times, it makes things a heck of a lot worse.

Rupert..

Therein lies the problem. One may go back to the Revolutionary War and work forward.

Not one war was instigated by a havenot from the disdained lower classes. Not one.

All of our wars and military adventures have been wrought by the haves, namely, the wealthy, the intellectuals, the upper class.

On this forum I see daily degradation for the working lower classes for being "patriotic", "ignorant" and "stupid". All of those words came out of the mouth of Obama. My brother was not patriotic in WWII, he was taken away under threat of arrest if he resisted. He never came back. I was not patriotic in 1950, the ruling elite made it known, show up or else.

In my four years I met not one war lover, not one "patriot". Every man wanted to go home. This patriotic thing is part of the programming by the government that the sheep swallow with ease.
