(CNN) — Democrat Travis Childers has defeated Republican Greg Davis in the special election for an open congressional seat in northern Mississippi, CNN projected Tuesday night, based on early returns.

Republicans have held the seat since 1994.

Another good omen that the GOPers will soon join Commies and Nazis on history's garbage heap.

Then you believe the Dem Party is pristine, above reproach, always looks out for America's interests?

Then you believe the Dem Party is pristine, above reproach, always looks out for America's interests?

Heck no. But it was Dems who spoke up against warrantless spying, preemptive war, torture, the suspension of habeus corpus, the Patriot Act, etc. when GOPers (save Ron Paul) were silent (or actively selling this garbage).

Hence, Dems have demonstrated that they have a better understanding of what this country is all about than the proud fascists of the GOP. By turning its back on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, the GOP has signed its own political death warrant. All that is left is for the American people to step forward with avenging wrath to become its executioner.

Isnt that an overgeneralization? *some* may have spoken against those things, but many did not; many wholly embraced them. and many who gave lip service to opposing these type things voted for them any way.

also, since they like slaughtering babies and banning guns. screw em all.

I'll occasionally follow the votes of new congressman John Hall, because i found it amusing he became a congressman. he sang the songs DANCE WITH ME and STILL THE ONE. he's a dem who supports the war funding and gave lip servie to legalizing marijuana but votes now to continue its criminalization and continue the war on drugs. and he voted yes on military commissions act, etc. he sucks.

Correction: some Democrats spoke up particularly when Dems were the minority party in the House and in the Senate.

However, since the Dems became the Majority party, there are have been far fewer instances of them "speaking out" against bad legislation, bad policies.

In fact the Dems have actually started sponsoring very evil anti-American legislation themselves now.

For example the despicable Homeland Security domestic terrorism legislation was introduced by Jane Harmon.

And the recent 1984ish compulsory newborn DNA gathering and storing legislation was introduced by a Dem as well.

And how can we forget that the Amnesty legislation for 20 Million illegals was introduced and pushed hardest by Dems.

Or the ADL inspired hate-speech/anti-first amendment legislation that the Dems tried to shove down America's throat? Thank goodness in this instance the GOP'ers stood tall and defeated this horrendus assault on our constitutional rights.

The loud cheerleading for Iran to be attacked pre-emptively is being done by the Dem leadership, and in fact much louder and more continually than the GOP. Actually Junior has resisted pressure from Dems like Schumer and Rahm Emmanuel and Lieberman to start a war with Iran for Israel's benefit - thankfully Junior's been persuaded by Gates and Rice to cool his jets at least for the time being.

Furthermore, the Dems have funded the Iraq and Afghanistan wars even though they promised their constituents that they would bring the troops home.

The Dems cheerleaded the shameful preemptive attack of Israel on Lebanon along side their compadre GOP'ers.

So tell me again how respectful the Dems are of the US constitution, the rule of law, and how they scorn preemptive war.

By turning its back on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, the GOP has signed its own political death warrant.

...and the Dems with speech codes, hate crimes, political correctness, gun grabbing, and regulating every aspect of your life including which light bulbs you can use and which plants you can have are a better choice?

Get your mind out of the two-party trap. "Lesser of two evils" still gets you evil.

Do you advocate evil or do you advocate liberty?

For everyone out there lurking...don't let THIS happen to you.

Arator's brain got wormed...he thinks there's a difference and that the neocommie label is different and even better.

Arator is a complete idiot. Don't be an Arator.
