That's sad and sick.
I often disagree with what Palo has to say, but by God she's a sweetheart, and the idea of people attacking her quite frankly makes me angry. Sure, I may disagree with her, but if I do, then I'd say "Palo, I think you're wrong, and I'm not sure how you can actually think that, perhaps you can clue me in to your thought process?" That's a lot different than directly attacking someone, calling them names or insinuating that they're somehow defective or stupid. Seriously, someone attacking Palo, that gets my dander up. Sure, there are some belligerent folks here who I have no problem attacking, mainly because of their consistently boorish, rude and mocking behavior. But Palo? Attacking a sweety like her is just wrong.

They should be ashamed. Palo never, ever has a bad thing to say about anyone. She is a genuinely honest and pure person. Palo is inspiring in her even caring nature, we should all strive to act with the kindness she exhibits.

Seriously, someone attacking Palo, that gets my dander up. Sure, there are some belligerent folks here who I have no problem attacking, mainly because of their consistently boorish, rude and mocking behavior. But Palo? Attacking a sweety like her is just wrong. I think she's a dingbat and in some cases dumb as a stump. But many people think the same about me so we are even. She also happens to be the nicest and sweetest person I have ever come across on the internet. In the at least seven years I have been reading her posts, I have NEVER seen her be mean or hateful to anyone, regardless of how they treated her. She is a living example of turning the other cheek and we should all, myself especially, try harder to emulate her posting persona.

One can disagree without being an ass. Simply not resorting to personal attacks generally suffices. One can still get anything across without questioning another poster's parentage.
