Will Media Report Obama's Gaffe About When Hugo Chavez Came to Power?

Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama made another gaffe on the campaign trail Friday when he suggested at a luncheon hosted by the Cuban American National Foundation that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez came to power while George W. Bush was in the White House.
Chavez was first elected president in 1998, and reelected in 2000, both occurring while Bill Clinton was serving his second term.
This was not the only gaffe Obama made in Florida Friday, for at another campaign stop, the junior senator from Illinois several times referred to the city of Sunrise as "Sunshine." This comes a week after calling Sioux Falls, South Dakota, "Sioux City," and two weeks after saying that America has 57 states.
Will Obama-loving media ever cover these gaffes?

This is a presidential election, and the man who is likely to be the Democrat nominee doesn't seem to know how many states are in our union, what city he's in when he's campaigning, or when our enemies came to power.
Isn't this newsworthy?
After all, if McCain made these errors on the stump, media would be claiming it to be early signs of Alzheimer's, and that would be the end of his campaign.

Technically, Chavez came to power for a third time during the Bush regime after the Bush-engineered coup pushed him out into the Bush and he then reconquered his job back. By the way, how dares Chavez hate Bush's guts? Just because Bush tried to oust him, hoping that he retreats into a spider hole and then maybe get him hang on a rope following some due process kangaroo court proceedings? Only an insane, democratically elected dictator such as Chavez would hate the Bush, just because Bush was trying to spread a little democracy.

I'd vote for Chavez in a heartbeat over Obama, the Chimp or any other American who has run in recent years, provided we also get Venezuela as our 51st state in the deal.

And he is going to make "demands" on you, make you "put down" things whether you choose to or not, and will not allow you to be alone or to be left alone. And he will "never allow you to go back to your lives as usual" no matter what you think about it. And people actually want to vote for this?

Venezuela could have the world's ALL oil reserves and it would not make one iota of difference in a globalized economy. Note that some of the Alaska oil is sold to Japan TODAY. The oil price is set on a global market and the factors are supply, demand and fear/optimism about the near future.
