Z, you've got Cyni wrong. i believe you misunderstood his post. he's as anti- war as anyone here, especially after experiencing the heartbreak of losing his older brother, who was drafted, in WW2.
This morning on the Electric Jew, I saw a McSwein ad. "I will not surrender in Iraq," he said with his silly, tight-lipped smile. The man is a dangerous, unbalanced warmonger who belongs in the madhouse, not the White House.
The guy is only being truthful about what he will have to do if he wins. Obama isn't being truthful. That's the only difference between them right now. Obama will say what you want to hear, not what he is going to do. McCain will, like an idiot, say what he is going to do, not what you want to hear. McCain can win only against Obama, against Hillary he has no chance. I don't know who I am voting for yet, probably Baldwin, but quite possibly McCain if it is a close race between him and the liberal candidate. I don't want the government getting involved anymore than it already has in health care.

lord, ricky, please. it's all staged and a vote for either one of the selections only gives an endorsement to the fraud. a no vote or a protest/write in vote is the message that millions of us need to send.

I know all that, but just in case my vote actually counts and McCain doesn't start national health care like Hillary and Obama would do then I would vote for him in a close race, which I don't think it will be. McCain is going to win this in a landslide if Obama is the nominee I think.

I haven't figured out yet where Obama and Hillary think they are going to get the $ to carry on 2 wars, rescue Darfurians, attack Iran for Israel, sign onto Kyoto Support Third World Dictators with carbon transfer credits, and implement socialized health care stateside. I mean there's a limit to the amount of tax $ you can squeeze out of the middle class to pay for all of these projects.

The Bible says "Judge least ye not be judged." I was merely doing to Cyni what he did to me. He seems to be an extremely opinionated person who delights in picking fights. As a sixty-nine-year-old diabetic with arthritis I'm getting a little old for cyberspace fights, so I Bozoed Cyni.
Life is a tragedy to those who feel, and a comedy to those who think.
Good post, Ricky J., the only part I disagree with is McSwein beating Black Obama in the race for the White House. Sane folks will vote for life over death almost every time

The 4 decorum is broken by ad hominems and bozoing. How many times do we have to repeat that criticism of one candidate does not consist of advocating another?

I have been called many bad names but never "punk" and surely not at my age.
Beyond that.
The "system" is not flawed, it is terribly broken. People operating with the system at its direction are indeed part of the problem. Twenty million Americans voted Perot, that was a indicator to the system that they must make certain it never happens again.

I doubt Perot was really that much of an outsider. Bill Clinton would have never beat Bush without Perot in the race. That more than likely was the main reason Perot was in it, to make sure Clinton won.
After Perot, the Presidential Debate Committee, one D and one R, established a 15% rule regarding national debates; no 3rd party candidate would be allowed to participate unless they were consistently tracking at 15%. Outside of Perot, who spent millions of his own $, I can't think of any 3rd party candidate that ever went above 4-5% nationally.
Without visibility on the national stage, a month or so outside of the selection, it's game, set, match for the Establishment.

Did you see Loudobbsy tonite? He's in the process of completing his conversion from Hillarism to McCainism. I expect to see most Hillarists/Ophobes at this site to pivot to McCain soon. (I like to use 'pivot'.)
Loudobbs explained his conversion to McCainism by citing McCain's willingness to 'win' in Iraq. He expressed horror at Obama's promise to withdraw our troops from that country because that would mean that we would not be winning there.
I posted an anti-Obama thread yesterday but no one bothered to comment on it. It was linking Obama to various Marxist-Terrorist people and movements but not to Hitler.
Every day when I tune in to this 4um, hope to see that this Obama-chatting will have disintegrated. But no, we still have to talk about this Marxist guy. I can't understand how his supporters here can believe in him, when his policy- directors are proven communists, or whatever one one wants to call them.
#65. To: a vast rightwing conspirator (#56)(Edited)
Is this the only Ophobist thread today? I want more.
Still a supporter of a liar, moron, coke sniffing, snake oil salesman I see. You are too easy vast.
Just two days separate his insistence that Iran is not a serious threat and then him calling Iran a grave threat. Obama may not be smart enough to realize that the word "grave" also means serious, but most Americans do. And if he isn't smart enough to know the meanings of simple words then he isn't smart enough to be president of the USA either. Or, he knows exactly what it means but has lied so much he gets confused about what his official position is on certain issues.
I haven't been this involved in politics since Perot. I guess I feel as tho this is indeed the last gasp of air we'll get, regardless of who gets in. I'm angry at the dopes (dupes) and the three stooges the Elite hold up for selection. This government needs to be torn out of the ground like a weed and a new, healthy plant put in its place.

Good. And yes, you are quite correct I fear. The internet has been a marvelous thing for exchange of info around the world - special kudos to news reporting by Haaretz and BBC and the like in int'l media or we would know zip zero if we had to rely on NYT and Wash Post and other pro-Beltway stateside cheerleaders.
