Seriously, they won't let him get away with that for much longer. Here is something the guy said to some smart aleck who posted some bs on his blog--I thought it was a great reply (and this wasn't all of it). The last time I checked, the State of Arizona hadn't ceded Mile Post 146 along State Route 86 to the federal government. As such, the location of the checkpoint in question falls squarely under the jurisdiction of Pima County, Arizona - not a bunch of Border Patrol agents who can't seem to find the border they're being paid to patrol.

Ernie is the guy who came up with the RON PAUL RE3VOLUTION idea and logo. I admire people like this. To some, theyre just troublemakers, 'causing trouble for no reason'. But if you had just seen her smiling or just standing there without opening her mouth and seen that she was on some kind of misguided power trip you would have thought she was attractive too--wouldn't you? I can compartmentalize things like that and while I wouldn't deny that she looks good enough on the outside she would probably be really hard to get along with. Especially for anyone who thought much about issues like liberty and their rights.

I have a mixed reaction to the situation depicted. I don't object to what the Youtuber is doing, but I do appreciate the fact that the feds are trying to stop illegal immigration at all. My bottom line at this point is that this person is helping to focus the fed attention where it matters, and he's helping to place necessary limits on their power -- in the form of publicity. Overall response: excellent. Main reservation: I've been asking for a stop to illegal immigration, and I'm happy to see some effort being exerted, however clumsy. Good job to all involved. This is the dialog of freedom. As citizens, we SHOULD be testing authority, constantly.
