Pious Perverts See other Pious Perverts Articles Title: Federal security officer charged in sex assault of 15-year-old girl A 25-year-old Olney man, a security officer with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, has been charged with third-degree sexual offense for having sex with a 15-year-old Gaithersburg girl, according to charging documents filed in Montgomery County District Court. The girl reported to police that she told the man to ‘‘stop,” according to the documents. Troy Daniel Fisher, 25, of the 3700 block of Cherry Valley Drive was arrested Thursday after turning himself in to police, said Jeannette Wright, a county police spokeswoman. Consensual sex with a minor younger than 16 is illegal; charges incurred often depend on the age of the minor involved and circumstances, said Officer Melanie Hadley, another police spokeswoman. Fisher paid the $10,000 bond set by the District Court Commissioner’s office and was released from custody, said William L. Smith, warden of the Montgomery County Detention Center. ‘‘We’re going through a very traumatic time right now and we’re in prison in our home,” the girl’s mother said Sunday. Her daughter is in therapy, taking medication and afraid to go outside, she said. The Gazette is not identifying the girl’s mother because the newspaper does not identify sex-assault victims. Fisher could not be reached for comment Tuesday. Charging documents filed by police tell this story: Fisher engaged in a sexual act and intercourse with the girl on May 22. She reported to police on May 23 that she consented but began feeling pain and told him to ‘‘stop.” She told police that Fisher refused, saying ‘‘he wanted to finish.” The documents also state that Fisher provided a written statement acknowledging the sex but denied that the girl asked him to stop. Fisher is a transportation security officer at Washington Dulles International Airport with homeland’s Transportation Security Administration, which provides airport screening and other security to U.S. transportation systems, according to court documents. ‘‘TSA is aware of this situation and takes the matter very seriously,” said spokeswoman Lauren Wolf in an e-mail to The Gazette. ‘‘This individual has been suspended without pay pending further investigation.” His attorney, Michael J. Banks filed a motion on Thursday requesting a speedy trial and seeking to suppress statements, physical evidence and all pre-trial and in-court identifications of his client, as well as any evidence derived from statements, seizures and identifications. The motion has not yet been ruled on.
