I've watched this election intently waiting for Barack Obama to go all the way. I'm hanging on every word and every move he makes. I'm in awe of his (or perhaps his campaign people's) wisdom in not fighting dirty the way the Clintons have. But, one thing has worried me for a couple of months now: Hillary Clinton for Vice President. She absolutely cannot become the Vice President because she's a liar, she gives all politicians a bad name, and she's a horrible excuse for a woman. To be frank, I refuse to vote for Hillary Clinton even if she's somehow attached herself to the '08 Presidental Ticket with Barack Obama.
Countless times Hillary Clinton has been given second, third, and fourth chances when she has lied to the public and was subsequently caught lying. She lied about visiting foreign countries, she's lied about her campaign funding, and even put out a poor excuse for an "apology" after being caught saying something so completely outlandish you have to wonder where she got this idea. Oh yes, we've all seen Clinton dodging sniper fire in other countries. All of the details somehow muddled themselves up in her brain when she repeatedly recounted the details of that visit. Sniper fire quickly turned into a smiling little girl and sing-a-longs in front of our eyes. Clinton is so desperate to stay in this loosing battle that she has had to fund her own campaign twice. This is not only morally wrong, it also puts her huge support in question. Obviously no one wanted to front that much money to a losing candidate and she obviously wanted it to look like her supporters donated all of that money. If she hadn't been caught, I'm thoroughly convinced that she would have passed it off as being completely donated. Her lies seem to come from no where even as she brings up Robert F. Kennedy's assisination almost completely out of nowhere. How does one go from talking about pushing this already bloated race to June to talking about the assasination of a member of the American pseudo-royal family? It is obvious to anyone with half a brain that this woman is a liar. She will lie at the drop of a hat with no regard for anyone but herself.
Of course, lying is synonymous with politicians in today's culture it seems. Whether a politician has bad judgment, is a bad liar, or is just plain idiotic, one thing is clear, none of these qualities belong in the White House. The war in Iraq is unfortunate for so many reasons and why would a change in Administration be going from Dubya to Clinton? She voted to go into war despite NOT knowing all of the details. She voted to kill thousands of innocent people, American or otherwise. Obviously this was not a wise decision on Clinton's part. There are some great politicians but there are also bad ones. Karl Rove, Larry Craig, and Hillary Clinton all have one thing in common: none of them are good at what they do and are even worse at lying about it when they get caught. Dubya is in office for now, but things will not change if we elect someone to the Presidental office who has the same selfish attitude towards the American public. What war will she lead us into?
During this race, not once did I see Barack Obama play the race card. Sure, he has addressed that other people played it for him, but no one has played their cards better than Mrs. Clinton. Crying, playing victim, and being a villianous bitch all showed that women are not ready to take office yet. Crying because you didn't get what you wanted do not show the kind of president I want running this country. Is she going to cry when her hefty Health Plan falls through? This isn't just playing the woman card, it's playing the immaturity card. She claimed over and over again that she was being picked on for being a woman in a man's race, but it was Mrs. Clinton who tried so hard to push the mighty oak tree that is the Obama campaign. Sure, she shook a few leaves, but she didn't shake this wise group of people into submission. Playing dirty is not how I want America's future president to behave. Claiming victory while you are losing and trying to smear Obama away did nothing because the American people were smart enough to see through the mud all over Clinton's face. She's still not going to win. No one likes a master manipulator. Karma is just as bitchy as Clinton and I hope she gets what's coming to her lying ass!
I've made my decision, I want to see Barack Obama in the White House. This decision has nothing to do with Clinton. In fact, I think she's already commited political suicide and I'm glad of it. I will never vote for a Clinton; I refuse to vote for Clinton even if she is offered the Vice President spot on Obama's hard won ticket. She doesn't deserve it and I will vote for McCain if I have to because McCain is better than Clinton. Please, Mr. Obama, as believer in what you've been speaking since Iowa, I'm begging you as an American citizen, please do not put Clinton on your ticket. It will be the worst mistake you could have ever made in this race.

I like Bill Richardson for VP. He has experience as a congressman, energy secretary, governor and ambassador. He brings regional and demographic benefits, plus he and Obama seem to really get along.
With Richardson on the ticket, the southwest would be competitive. We would win in New Mexico for sure, would have a real chance at taking states like Colorado and perhaps even make Texas less of a sure thing for the Republicans.
