(What?) 2004 Libertarian party presidential candidate Michael Badnarik recently referred to New world order stooge Colin Powell as a 'man of integrity' and said he would support him for president if he were running. Was this a momentary gaffe or a serious flaw in judgement on Michael's part? Michael Badnarik, 2004 libertarian party presidential candidate said on his WTPRN radio show Monday, June 9th that he would support Colin Powell for president if he were running and that Powell was "a man of honor and integrity". And I have nothing against- I mean I think a black president would be fine! Michael has a daily radio show on WE THE PEOPLE RADIO NETWORK from 7-9AM central time. I also asked how Michael in a recent e-mail if he supports Bob Barr for president and if so, how can he support a guy who voted for the Patriot Act and was an infamous 'drug warrior'. I have yet to recieve a response. I like Michael and have even been a guest on his show, but we have to tell our fellow co-patriots when they are wrong. Shortly after 9/11, Colin Powell said on "Meet the Press" that a paper outlining the evidence supporting the government's identification of the alleged perpetrators would soon be released. Such a paper was never released. When later asked about the paper, White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan denied that Colin Powell had promised one. http://www.vt911.org/ Lessons from Sept. 11 - "Cost of Empire": the high price of U.S. policies - Was al-Qaida behind the operation? Most likely, but not for certain. Secretary of State Colin Powell promised a white paper proving al-Qaida's guilt. It never came. - A tape that surfaced in late 2001 purporting to show Osama bin Laden gleefully chortling over the attacks, was seen by many in the Arab and Muslim world as a crude fake. Nothing can excuse the sickening barbarity of the 9/11 attacks. But nothing should excuse America's pre-attack delusions of Olympian immunity from the ills of the outside world, some caused by U.S. policies. http://tvnewslies.org/html/9_11_facts.html Waco: Still Burning Issues And what of any role played by the military, especially General Colin Powell. then-Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff? The same congressional source said Les Aspin, then the Secretary of Defense, was opposed to any military involvement in any aspect of the Waco case. An Army source who was present said Powell flew to Texas just a few days after the initial failed raid at Waco, to personally debrief the Green Beret officers who led ATF training.
