Johnson resigns from team vetting Obama veep By NEDRA PICKLER, Associated Press Writer 38 minutes ago WASHINGTON - Jim Johnson, a manager of Democrat Barack Obama's vice presidential search team, resigned Wednesday amid criticism over his personal loan deals. "Jim did not want to distract in any way from the very important task of gathering information about my vice presidential nominee, so he has made a decision to step aside that I accept," Obama said in a statement. "We have a very good selection process under way, and I am confident that it will produce a number of highly qualified candidates for me to choose from in the weeks ahead. I remain grateful to Jim for his service and his efforts in this process."
Poster Comment: That was quick. Yesterday? we all became award Johnson was the beneficiary of millions in loans from Countrywide financial. Today, he's toast. O'Mama can sure pick 'em.

yeah he's not gonna have any influence, yeah that's the ticket.
Sounds like the shuffle of chairs on the Titanic. This VP drama is showtime for the sheeple. Mr. O will be told who best fits the office when that time comes.
The last time Americans were swindled on the system "picking" a VP, the job was left to Draft Dodger Cheney and he picked himself. So much for VP picking, total BS for the sheep.
