Apparently the Obamas of Kenya have been reading those scurrilous emails to which Barack likes to refer, because they have no doubt -- contrary to the claims of the Obama campaign, that the presidential candidate was raised a Moslem. They take that as a given. As the Jerusalem Post reports, "Barack Obama's half brother Malik said Thursday that if elected his brother will be a good president for the Jewish people, despite his Muslim background. In an interview with Army Radio he expressed a special salutation from the Obamas of Kenya." The Obama brothers' father, a senior economist for the Kenyan government who studied at Harvard University, died in car crash in 1982. He left six sons and a daughter. All of his children - except Malik -- live in Britain or the United States. Malik and Barack met in 1985. In a remarkable denial issued last November that still stands on the official campaign website, Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs issued a statement explaining that "Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised as a Muslim, and is a committed Christian." Apparently Malik Obama, himself a Muslim, had not read the press release. Melanie Phillips is the most recent commentator to draw attention to the massive body of evidence that leaves no doubt that Barak Hussein Obama was born a Muslim (Islam is patrilineal) and raised a Muslim (so registered in school, acknowledging attending Islamic classes, reported accompanying his step-father to the mosque, and able to recite the Koran in the original Arabic). Reuven Koret, Aaron Klein and Daniel Pipes have previously pointed to the attempts by Obama and his campaign to conceal the candidate's Muslim background. The well documented evidence draws upon the on-the-ground interviews by researchers in Indonesia and Kenya, published quotations of Obama's childhood friends and his school records, as well as the candidate's own autobiography. It is not clear whether Barack Obama will now disown his half-brother Malik, or throw him under the campaign bus, for acknowledging that shared family background. In any case, some one should notify "Fight the Smear" tout de suite. Perhaps they can get him with the program.

It appears that you believe your way is the only way to vote. That the others by voting third party or not voting are enablers of McCain. Has it occurred to you that what you are doing is actually the enabler's position? You keep playing the same game--voting for D or voting for R. Essentially you're digging in the same hole, deeper each time, and somehow expect that things are gonna be different. Things just keep rumbling along, with no major differences- -there is just the plumping up of the pillows which make the sofa look new. YOU are the one who is enabling the two-headed single bodied monster party to remain in control--sure, one day the left head prefers french toast while the next day the right head perefers pancakes. what is sad is I said the same thing in 2000 that I have said here and not only was I correct, bush and the neocons ended up being worse that I imagined they would be. I guess some Americans have given up and are willing to let the destruction of our country continue. Anybody who believes Obama could get away with a small percentage of what bush has and what McCain will if he is elected doesn't live in the real world. He would have trouble keeping what had for breakfast from the media and the public. I guess some Americans have just given up and are willing to accept the worst candidate no matter what. I am beginning to finally realize that some people really don't care about this country. The idea of voting for Obama makes me ill but no where near as much as the thought (nightmare) of McCain getting into office. I have repeatedly tried to get McCain to respond to questions via email and at a couple of McCain supporters meetings and all I have gotten is ignored or physically removed. I guess the future of America is headed to the junkpile.
You may believe that your voting for the big "O" is going to save the country, or at least it is your attempt to do so; but the reality is, NOTHING ever changes, except for a bit of fluffing the pillows. They have a lock on running the country, and they plan to keep it that way; and in order to do so, they have to give and take--with each other--screw America, so long as they scratch each others' backs and keep it in the family. I absolutely refuse to play that game, and have refused to do so ever since I ran for office, failed, and spent time working in the state legislature and SAW FOR MYSELF how things really are. You can declare all you want that I'm sticking my head in the sand and letting the country go to hell--so be it. I've already seen that your attempt at playing the game doesn't work. I maintain that so long as you continue digging the same hole in the same way, you cannot expect any different results. I sleep fine at night---I didn't vote for the bastard currently in there, nor the last two before him! I don't have to run around apologizing for having voted for them, nor do I have to run around lying about not voting for them.

BTW, America is heading for the trashpile of history. I don't believe it is because someone is gonna vote for either the nut or the liar. The people themselves have lost their way; they've allowed government to run everything into the ground, they've lost their principles, their morals, and God only knows what else we've been lax in.

You're right, chuckles, I can't name a politician who isn't controlled by the elite and that would include your boy, Obummer. I can name a STATESMAN who isn't controlled by them and that is Ron Paul. Statements are either true or false and do not depend upon the publication source. I would be more likely to vote for Obama if he were a practicing Muslim. But I will not vote for anyone who lies about every detail of his life.
