Homosexuality takes Congress by storm

Jeff Johnson - OneNewsNow - 6/13/2008 10:40:00 AM

The two openly homosexual members of the U.S. House of Representatives have recruited 50 of their colleagues to officially join them in promoting the homosexual agenda in Congress.

Democrats Barney Frank of Massachusetts and Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin are the only open homosexuals serving in Congress. They have joined with Republicans Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida and Christopher Shays of Connecticut, and 50 other Democrats to create the House Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Caucus. Peter LaBarbera, president of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, says it is a sad day when Congress enshrines official promotion of sexual immorality.

"How interesting that we now have a homosexuality, transsexual caucus – I guess you could call it – at the congressional level. It's just unbelievable that there are this many congressmen who are promoting homosexuality and transsexual perversion," LaBarbera laments.

While LaBarbera criticized the two Republicans for lending the appearance of bipartisanship to the group, he reserved his primary wrath for the Democrats.

"I think what this shows is that the hard-core Democratic Left is extremely pro-homosexual," he states. "Big city populations have many homosexual activists, and they're disproportionately powerful compared to the rest of the people in the district. Do I think that the average person in the district knows that these members are promoting homosexuality in this way? No way! But there are probably powerful homosexual constituencies in each one of these districts," LaBarbera explains. Story continues below ...

Results from our related poll question What's your reaction to the formal creation of a pro-homosexual caucus in the U.S. House of Representatives?

Christians, according to LaBarbera, could learn something from the success of homosexual activists. With very small numbers, they have managed to create the perception of a much larger constituency and, thereby, have many of their political demands met.

"The gays are all about political power. They know how to vote. They're very committed. They're not apathetic like many Christians," says the activist. "And they've 'earned' this extraordinary total: 52 congressmen coming right out and saying, 'We are going to vote for homosexuality and transsexuality in Congress," LaBarbera contends.

The 52 members of the LGBT Caucus are: Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Barney Frank (D-MA), Rob Andrews (D-NJ), Xavier Becerra (D-CA), Lois Capps (D-CA), Yvette Clarke (D-NY), Joseph Crowley (D-NY), Diana DeGette (D-CO), Keith Ellison (D-MN), Raúl Grijalva (D-AZ), Mike Honda (D-CA), Barbara Lee (D-CA), James McGovern (D-MA), Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Linda Sánchez (D-CA), Jan Schakowsky (D-IL), Hilda Solis (D-CA), Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), Henry Waxman (D-CA), Anthony Weiner (D-NY), Peter Welch (D-VT), Howard Berman (D-CA), Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), Robert Brady (D-PA), Michael Capuano (D-MA), Susan Davis (D-CA), Rosa DeLauro (D-CT), Eliot Engel (D-NY), Anna Eshoo (D-CA), Luis Gutierrez (D-IL), Phil Hare (D-IL), Rush Holt (D-NJ), Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX), Patrick Kennedy (D-RI), Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), Zoe Lofgren (D-CA), Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), Doris Matsui (D-CA), James Moran (D-VA), Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-Washington, D.C.), Frank Pallone (D-NJ), Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL), Steven Rothman (D-NJ), José Serrano (D-NY), Chris Shays (R-CT), Pete Stark (D-CA), Betty Sutton (D-OH), Ellen Tauscher (D-CA), Niki Tsongas (D-MA), Robert Wexler (D-FL), Lynn Woolsey (D-CA).

LaBarbera argues that the average voter in most of those 52 congressional districts has no idea that their elected representative is openly promoting sexual immorality.

Most cigars are just cigars, unless we are talking about 5 Vegas Series A, or Gurkha Triple Ligero. I've actually worshiped these bad boys.

Or a Primo Cuban Monte, or Romeo y Julieta.

Of course one could throw in the JR Ultimate, and Ashton VSG.

I just smoked a 5 year old La Primadora Maduro that has aged very very nicely. La Primadora is not a bad smoke, but they require several years of aging as while they use good tobaccos they don't age them enough - to sell it as moderately priced bundle.

So many cigars, so little time. Rotara threw out that Punch, another fine choice. Rockey Patel Vintage? Partegas Black Label? The VSG and Romeo & Juieta Real Reserve is what got me enjoying big ring cigars. Haven't tried the JR. Is that from JR Cigar? I stopped in last year. Nice large humidor. I buy from Cigars International. Better selection and prices.

I haven't tried the La Primadora Maduro. yet :^) CAO has been making some great cigars. The Italia and Brazilia are great to smoke. I like the maduro the best. Especially maduro's with ligero. I just smoked a Partagas 1845 that was rolled in 1997. Great tasting cigar, but was a bit hard to pull.

Had one of these?:

I just got a box over the weekend and I'm extremely happy with them.

Yes I have, and yes that is another fine choice. I smoke one cigar a day. I have an hour commute, and my chosen time is on the way to work. When I arrive at work I'm in a pleasant state of mind, which helps me approach my job in a better frame of mind. I used to smoke on the ride home, but switched to on the way to work. Never had a problem with taking my job home, but taking home to work.

I have to admit I've been stuck on the 5 Vegas, and Gurkha's for about a year now. I've been researching Nestor Placencea lately. He and his son have been supplying CAO and Gurkha with their leaves. Seems a few growers supply a lot of name brands with their leaves.

This will go over real good with the muzzies. I wonder how many of the 52 perverts are trying to serve the muzzies at the same time. Two masters and all that....

No, but I'll give em a shot in time.

Kinksterisms
In 2006 Kinky ran for Governor of Texas as an independent candidate, stating that his administration would make its goal the “dewussification” of Texas. Some of his campaign slogans were: “How hard could it be?”, “Why the hell not?”, “My governor is a Jewish cowboy”, and “He ain’t Kinky, he’s my governor.”

Interesting. He states that only Cubans making cigars in Honduras can match a Cuban cigar, and states that his line of cigars are designed to replace the Cubans he loves so dearly, yet his cigars are made in the Dominican by Oliveros. Don’t get me wrong, Oliveros makes some incredible cigars, but it’s kinda contradicting, when you think about it.

Oliveros makes a great cigar. I disagree with his Honduras statement. There are fine cigars from many parts of the world. Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic are fine by me. I always wonder what a God of Fire taste like. Just don't have hundreds to spend on 1 cigar.

Sungrown, I was under the same impression at the RTDA as well after a discussion with one of their reps, but after talking with Kinky last week in Houston, it turns out that the cigars are imported by Oliveros, but are made by Nestor and his group.

I hope you don't mind me beating this to death but finding out Nestor Placencea is the leaf supplier seals it for me. I'll try em. That man knows how to cultivate fine tobaccos plain and simple.

Don't get me wrong....these sacks of siht could sleep with a jar of jelly and I wouldn't care, but I'm about overloaded with this crap. ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!

Jar of jelly indeed - LOL!

I agree with you, JT - no one cares what other people do in the privacy of their bedrooms frankly.

But it's rather insulting that straights are forced 24/7 by MSM and jack boot judges and sold out politicians to not only tolerate but also to cheer and want our children to have this decadent life style choice force fed to them starting as early as Kindergarten. Why should 3% of the population be turning our society upside down? If they want to do what they do as gays, they should go for it. They are consenting adults. No one is stopping them from choosing this self-destructive - in many cases - path in life.

But to lobby our political punks for help in integrating their minority position personal life style choice into mainstream society is ridiculous and self-defeating because this only further alienates straights.

You need to learn the fine art of stringing people along for weeks at a time in order to be a good talking head. Zbignotajew Brzinzszniszinznskizniki predicted that the Soviet Union would be around for another 40 years back in the late 80's, I heard him say it right on CNN one night.
