You know about the Mossad founding of Hamas don't you? It is quite an infamous exploit. Mossad and the Israeli gov't used Hamas as 'proof' that Palestinian terrorism existed. Much to their chagrin, the Pallies found out that it was Mossad at the top of the organization and these agents provocateur were eliminated in a fitting manner. Hamas, being already founded by Mossad, was then redirected to other efforts to combat Zionist terror against the Pallies. The Israelis still use Hamas as a pawn in the propaganda war, though they no longer have any control over what the group does, or does not do.
