Single actress Jodie Foster's newborn second baby, Kit, has the same sperm donor father as her little boy, Charlie. The anonymous man is tall, handsome and has a genius level intelligence, say friends.

Jodie, 39, was so delighted with Charlie, 3, that she went to the bank and asked to be impregnated with sperm from the same man, a scientist.

She will later tell her children they have the same father.

Foster, who is in a serious relationship with a woman - Cydney Bernard - is talking about having one more child.

An insider said: "Jodie and Cydney want to have babies while they're young enough to chase them around the yard.

Kit was born on September 29. - Planet Syndication

"As Jodie always says, 'We aren't exactly Ozzie and Harriet [the perfect

couple] - but who is? A family is people who love each other'."

A source said: "Charles is a beautiful, smart, loving boy and Jodie is absolutely blown away by him, and by the experience of being a mother. There was no question that she wanted the same anonymous donor to provide sperm when she was ready to get pregnant again.

"This donor is a scientist with a Ph.D, tall and handsome. He has an I.Q of 160 - genius level. Jodie picked him as the father of her first boy after researching the qualifications of other donors at a clinic in the Los Angeles area."

The source went on to tell the U.S. magazine National Enquirer: "Jodie feels that, even though her children may never know who their dad is, they'll know they each have the same parents."

Jodie and Cydney met on the set of the movie Sommersby in 1993. - Planet Syndication

Sheesh. I don't stand a chance. Six foot, blond hair, blue eyes, 135 IQ...if a sperm bank did take me, imagine if I was never chosen! Sniff. -- YertleTurtle

If I were looking for a sperm donor I would hope there is more detailed information available than just IQ and physical appearance. I know of more than one good looking person of intellect who is also a total asshole - and I believe personality traits can be genetic, therefore passed along via sperm.

For example I knew a kid when I was growing up who had a violent temper and a hair trigger. When I met his father I found out that not only was the kid the spitting image of him physically, but the old man had the same personality.

This reminds me of a saying a friend's father used to use when we'd talk about dysfunctional people and families; "Any jerk can have a kid, and that's just the problem - they do."

Intelligence in general is an overrated characteristic, imo, while other personality features are often underrated in importance. I think that social skills, the ability to relate to others in an adaptive and positive manner, in most cases, contribute much more to a person's success in life.

That's the conclusion I've come to. I've known people with very high IQs who had no social skills at all. It's almost as if they were autistic, and were almost clueless on how to relate to people.

There are many different areas of intelligence that a standard IQ test does not even test at all. Also an IQ test is only going to be as accurate as the people who are making it up are. Having idiots making up an IQ test that real geniuses fail only proves that geniuses don't think like idiots. People put way too much emphasis on IQ tests anyway, and I am not saying that because I scored badly on it either, unless 140 is bad. :)

this, of course, is considering the individual is at least average to high average intelligence and not a retard. ;)

The average claimed IQ at FreeRetardic is 193, and look at all the good that's done for them. Oops, sorry, I meant to say FreeRepublic. ;)

If the average claimed IQ is FreeRetard is 193, then mine is right about 500.

Yeah, if the freepers are setting the standard at 193, you'd have to use scientific notation to be able to accurately depict everybody else's.

Seems to me that freepers have a world view not much unlike the way my dogs look at birds, bunnies and squirrels. Pretty basic stuff.
