Ron Paul on CNN's Glen Beck show:
Host: So many of your supporters I meet are also part of the 911 truth movement; you've appeared in a movie END GAME that talks about the bilderbergers, etc. Why do you think there is such an attraction from that part of the political discourse, to your movement?
Ron Paul: "Well, I'm not sure, and one of the reasons is that though I don't endorse those concerns, I probably have .. ya know. uh.. encouraged it in, uh, ironically because I haven't accepted the uh, 911, uh, investigation.
Host: You haven't?
Paul: "No because. I think they hid things from us , and they didn't want to blame anybody. Nobody was discovered to be inept but we spent 40 billion dollars on security.. and .. and ..the information was there..
Later in the interview the host continues: "Well once again I disagree with you but are you saying there's something about the 911 attack that we should know but don't? I thought we know; 19 guys airplanes slammed into the buildings. What don't we know?"
I suggest watching this whole 20+ minute video, but here are some notable remarks:
11:16 Paul speaks on the north American Union, the U.N., and the world government movement
A questioner then asks Paul about "the relentless erosion of our civil liberties... why wasn't there more of an outcry from republican congressmen?"
Paul's reply at minute 12:28.
Ron Paul: "911 changed everything. and they loved it... The neocons believed they should be world conquerers.. 20 or 30 people who hijack our domestic civil liberties policy, economic policy, foreign policy..
...and thats what they wanted. and they even talked before 9/11, not that they planned it or expected it. but they always sort of, a lucky event, could be another pearl harbor event, they talked about it being a lucky event,.. it fell in their lap and it changed everything.. and then you get guys like Giuliani that make a living off it.... people have not listened to the admonishment of Benjamin Franklin.."
Paul then jokes about toothpaste confiscation at airports and how people 'feel good and secure about it'.
First, I have financially supported Ron Paul and more importantly the Constitutional ideals for which he purported to stand from the beginning. Until he recently completely withdrew I quietly supported him, though my gut was telling me that I'd been taken, AGAIN.
If all of the wind hadn't been sucked out of the sails of the Ron Paul ship when other incidents happened that caused doubts, like not recounting the votes when questionable, like refraining from stating with conviction that the 9-11 Commission was pure unadulterated fraudulent bullshit, or when he placed his congressional election ahead of the presidential race, then he announced a private convention in Minnesota (avoiding confrontation with the mainstream approved Republicans) well then the Texas State Delegate Convention (ILLUSION) and Ron Paul's withdrawal finally forced me back to a condition of UNBELIEF in ANY of THE LIARS. The only good thing that I see in all of this is that the people want FREEDOM. The difficult thing to say is that these freedom lovers will be forced to physically confront the political hierarchy, and THROW THEM OUT.
My opinion is that the "movement" was dealt the most crippling blow this past week. Many contributors to Ron Paul's campaign gave money they didn't have just to make their best effort to support truth. Then just before this convention in Houston, Ron announces to the media that he's withdrawing. Thousands (literally) of Ron Paul supporters showed up to fight for freedom at this convention just to find out RP had quit. Oh, I know he made some claims related to the future struggle etc., bullshit. THERE IS ONLY NOW.
We have been silenced for another cycle of orchestrated selections by the PTB. We have been had, and in my most humble opinion, Ron Paul was a part of it. If he didn't intend to FIGHT, if he is to old to fight back then he shouldn't have raised the hopes of so many little people just to quit.
I'm sure some good will come out of his campaign. It really did my heart good to see so many Americans waving banners, confronting frauds, and expressing their desire for liberty ... liberty and freedom can't be purchased with FAKE MONEY ... the price of freedom will be measured by the extreme sacrifice that is always required to remove dictators and tyrants.
I see it as a limited hang-out to minimize the potential damage.
I don't think Dr. Paul or anyone else understood what a threat his historical candidacy represented to Israel when he began.
They probably told Paul straight out with no equivocation or "read between the lines" that if he didn't pull out his beloved grandchildren would be targeted by the nastiest assassins that slither around in America, and his loved ones would die excruciatingly painful deaths! If he pulled his family inside and locked his bunker down they'd destroy him with that in the media, so, there was no way he could safely continue with his positive message campaign.
He was the most formidable threat in our history to Israel, the Federal Reserve swindle, the oil monopoly, the missing gold, the phony drug war and related money laundering (perhaps 90% of profits worldwide) BIG PHARMA's death toll and the 9/11 conspiracy, and he knows many things that he didn't dare reveal, hoping to get into office and then set the conspirators' asses on fire.
Believe me, Paul knows better than anyone that Sen. Wellstone's fatal plane crash (that also took his wife and daughter so they couldn't fill his seat) was no blue bird clear day plane accident. He knows all too well that Mel Carnahan and JFK Jr died because the Republicans and The Democrats (respectively) wanted them out of the picture.
What he didn't know was that the entire world would be electrified by the glimmer of hope of restoring America, and that foreign nationals were aware of his personal integrity and would support his campaign in spirit if not actual dollars.
The enemy saw it too and they were scared shitless of him. You can bet that he was given no choice at all. He did what anyone would have done and we can't blame him for it. After all, it took decades of America being asleep at the wheel for us to reach this sad state of affairs, and we have no right to ask anyone to risk all and even martyr themselves when most of us have risked nothing to slow America's slide into Hell.
It's great that many offered money and hours to the campaign. But, how many would stop bullets or worse, allow their families to perish for the chance to try and beat DIEBOLD, the media and ultimately the same supreme court that has already stolen two elections to win a game that may never again be fairly decided?
If Americans want an honest man to serve then we can march on Washington and take it back by forcing the govt to capitulate and resign. If we're willing to risk being napalmed on Pennsylvania Ave and The Capitol Green and we succeed, then Dr. Paul will be proud and honored to serve as the president of the restored constitutional republic of America.
Until we're willing to risk all then we have no right to expect it from anyone else.
"Yeah, I'll vote for him! Hell, mah stock will soar IF he gets in!! Of course ah hope you'll have the good taste not to mention this little chat to the senator, 'cause ah usually....well, always support him and the party. Good for bizness, you understand...."
Exactly. Less talking, more walking. In the end, the internet may be just another way of keeping us in our homes. Less personally engaged. The perps are already well identified. Whoever takes the streets first...
Thank you both for great posts #5 & 6. don't think there is anything I can add, you said it all & I agree with you both. ;-( it's nice to correspond with people who understand.

I was at the ice cream sundae social given by the Pauls that Thursday night in Houston. The video presentation followed by Dr. Paul's speech was wonderful, but his suspending of the campaign was not made clear. When I returned to my hotel that evening and read on his website that he was done, I was stunned. The next morning, it was evident that some of my fellow Paulites were not aware, and wouldn't believe it until they read it themselves. After having been subjected to the second "it's for our children's futures" speech by Newt 33rd Degree Mason Gingrich, and just before Huckleberry's appearance, I bowed out of the convention Friday afternoon. Being in the same room with so many self-righteous killers was just plain nauseating; they are cult-members. Yeah, sure it was a life-time experience, but I sure wouldn't have spent the money and time if I'd known Ron had to quit. I don't blame him, and I did get my book autographed, at least.
