Ron Paul on CNN's Glen Beck show:

Host: So many of your supporters I meet are also part of the 911 truth movement; you've appeared in a movie END GAME that talks about the bilderbergers, etc. Why do you think there is such an attraction from that part of the political discourse, to your movement?

Ron Paul: "Well, I'm not sure, and one of the reasons is that though I don't endorse those concerns, I probably have .. ya know. uh.. encouraged it in, uh, ironically because I haven't accepted the uh, 911, uh, investigation.

Host: You haven't?

Paul: "No because. I think they hid things from us , and they didn't want to blame anybody. Nobody was discovered to be inept but we spent 40 billion dollars on security.. and .. and ..the information was there..

Later in the interview the host continues: "Well once again I disagree with you but are you saying there's something about the 911 attack that we should know but don't? I thought we know; 19 guys airplanes slammed into the buildings. What don't we know?"

Youtube video: Ron Paul At The Arab American Institute Conference in Dearborn, Michigan, October 2007.
Added: February 26, 2008

I suggest watching this whole 20+ minute video, but here are some notable remarks:

11:16 Paul speaks on the north American Union, the U.N., and the world government movement

A questioner then asks Paul about "the relentless erosion of our civil liberties... why wasn't there more of an outcry from republican congressmen?"

Paul's reply at minute 12:28.

Ron Paul: "911 changed everything. and they loved it... The neocons believed they should be world conquerers.. 20 or 30 people who hijack our domestic civil liberties policy, economic policy, foreign policy..

...and thats what they wanted. and they even talked before 9/11, not that they planned it or expected it. but they always sort of, a lucky event, could be another pearl harbor event, they talked about it being a lucky event,.. it fell in their lap and it changed everything.. and then you get guys like Giuliani that make a living off it.... people have not listened to the admonishment of Benjamin Franklin.."

Paul then jokes about toothpaste confiscation at airports and how people 'feel good and secure about it'. Subscribe to *9-11*

During the debates, Paul made the statement, ..."If I become president I would open all the books"...

Many considered that to mean 9/11 also.

finally!

I knew he had it in him.

Maybe he will catch up with the rest of us now.

This new project he is promoting will create a MUCH wider base than presidential campaigning did. Cool.

But, I'm still gonna chant RON PAUL, RON PAUL

I love the new Ron Paul.

First, I have financially supported Ron Paul and more importantly the Constitutional ideals for which he purported to stand from the beginning. Until he recently completely withdrew I quietly supported him, though my gut was telling me that I'd been taken, AGAIN.

If all of the wind hadn't been sucked out of the sails of the Ron Paul ship when other incidents happened that caused doubts, like not recounting the votes when questionable, like refraining from stating with conviction that the 9-11 Commission was pure unadulterated fraudulent bullshit, or when he placed his congressional election ahead of the presidential race, then he announced a private convention in Minnesota (avoiding confrontation with the mainstream approved Republicans) well then the Texas State Delegate Convention (ILLUSION) and Ron Paul's withdrawal finally forced me back to a condition of UNBELIEF in ANY of THE LIARS. The only good thing that I see in all of this is that the people want FREEDOM. The difficult thing to say is that these freedom lovers will be forced to physically confront the political hierarchy, and THROW THEM OUT.

My opinion is that the "movement" was dealt the most crippling blow this past week. Many contributors to Ron Paul's campaign gave money they didn't have just to make their best effort to support truth. Then just before this convention in Houston, Ron announces to the media that he's withdrawing. Thousands (literally) of Ron Paul supporters showed up to fight for freedom at this convention just to find out RP had quit. Oh, I know he made some claims related to the future struggle etc., bullshit. THERE IS ONLY NOW.

We have been silenced for another cycle of orchestrated selections by the PTB. We have been had, and in my most humble opinion, Ron Paul was a part of it. If he didn't intend to FIGHT, if he is to old to fight back then he shouldn't have raised the hopes of so many little people just to quit.

I'm sure some good will come out of his campaign. It really did my heart good to see so many Americans waving banners, confronting frauds, and expressing their desire for liberty ... liberty and freedom can't be purchased with FAKE MONEY ... the price of freedom will be measured by the extreme sacrifice that is always required to remove dictators and tyrants.

I see it as a limited hang-out to minimize the potential damage.

Resolve to serve no more, and you are at once freed. I do not ask that you place hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but simply that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great Colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall of his own weight and break in pieces.

I don't think Dr. Paul or anyone else understood what a threat his historical candidacy represented to Israel when he began.

They probably told Paul straight out with no equivocation or "read between the lines" that if he didn't pull out his beloved grandchildren would be targeted by the nastiest assassins that slither around in America, and his loved ones would die excruciatingly painful deaths! If he pulled his family inside and locked his bunker down they'd destroy him with that in the media, so, there was no way he could safely continue with his positive message campaign.

He was the most formidable threat in our history to Israel, the Federal Reserve swindle, the oil monopoly, the missing gold, the phony drug war and related money laundering (perhaps 90% of profits worldwide) BIG PHARMA's death toll and the 9/11 conspiracy, and he knows many things that he didn't dare reveal, hoping to get into office and then set the conspirators' asses on fire.

Believe me, Paul knows better than anyone that Sen. Wellstone's fatal plane crash (that also took his wife and daughter so they couldn't fill his seat) was no blue bird clear day plane accident. He knows all too well that Mel Carnahan and JFK Jr died because the Republicans and The Democrats (respectively) wanted them out of the picture.

What he didn't know was that the entire world would be electrified by the glimmer of hope of restoring America, and that foreign nationals were aware of his personal integrity and would support his campaign in spirit if not actual dollars.

The enemy saw it too and they were scared shitless of him. You can bet that he was given no choice at all. He did what anyone would have done and we can't blame him for it. After all, it took decades of America being asleep at the wheel for us to reach this sad state of affairs, and we have no right to ask anyone to risk all and even martyr themselves when most of us have risked nothing to slow America's slide into Hell.

It's great that many offered money and hours to the campaign. But, how many would stop bullets or worse, allow their families to perish for the chance to try and beat DIEBOLD, the media and ultimately the same supreme court that has already stolen two elections to win a game that may never again be fairly decided?

If Americans want an honest man to serve then we can march on Washington and take it back by forcing the govt to capitulate and resign. If we're willing to risk being napalmed on Pennsylvania Ave and The Capitol Green and we succeed, then Dr. Paul will be proud and honored to serve as the president of the restored constitutional republic of America.

Until we're willing to risk all then we have no right to expect it from anyone else.

"Yeah, I'll vote for him! Hell, mah stock will soar IF he gets in!! Of course ah hope you'll have the good taste not to mention this little chat to the senator, 'cause ah usually....well, always support him and the party. Good for bizness, you understand...."

http://edition.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0806/19/gb.01.html

GRAHAM: I want to speak about foreign policy for a second, because you and I disagree on foreign policy. You know, having a loony tune like Saddam Hussein running around, threatening his neighbors was never good for gas prices.

You add China and India`s demand in a tight supply to a loony tune like Saddam Hussein, you have a problem.

I have to ask you, because I think it`s a necessary question. So many of your supporters I meet are also part of the 9/11 truth movement. You`ve appeared in a movie "End Game" that talks about the build-a-burgers (ph), et cetera. Why do you think there is such an attraction from that part of the political discourse to your movement?

PAUL: Well, I`m not sure. And one of the reasons is that, though I don`t endorse those concerns, I probably have, you know, encouraged it, ironically. Because I haven`t accepted the 9/11 investigation.

GRAHAM: You haven`t?

PAUL: No. Because I think they hid things from us, and they didn`t want to blame anybody. Nobody was discovered to be inept. We spent $40 billion on security, and the information was there.

What about the CIA agent that reported 35 or 40 times that these individuals were flying airplanes but learning how to fly airplanes but not land them, and we didn`t do anything. But nobody was punished. So there was a lot of ineptness there on it. And nobody talks about the incentives for people to commit suicide terrorism.

And it`s very, very clear that suicide terrorists are not motivated because people are rich or because they`re free. They`re motivated, mainly, and almost wholeheartedly, because they`re occupied by foreign nations. If we don`t understand that, we are going to be forever threatened by terrorists.

GRAHAM: Once again, I disagree with you. But you are saying there`s something about the 9/11 attack that we should know but don`t? I thought we knew. Nineteen guys, airplanes slammed into the buildings. What don`t we know?

PAUL: Well, what we don`t know is who was inept. We had that information buried in all those records that some of these people were stirring around. We didn`t do anything to prevent it. I mean, we had all this money spent to protect us.

On that day, on 9/11, Seoul, Korea, was better protected than Washington, D.C., and New York City. So there`s something wrong. We`re looking outward not inward. We closed our bases in America, and we build them in Saudi Arabia, which was the No. 1 motivating factor of Osama bin Laden. He says, "You have a military base by foreigners on our holy land."

So we have to understand that. It`s not -- it`s no way we can solve this problem.

GRAHAM: And of course, we there were because of the threat of Saddam Hussein, which takes us back to the beginning.

But Congressman, I`ve got to take a quick break. I`d love to continue this conversation. When we return, more with Congressman Ron Paul in just a minute. Please stick around.

(COMMERCIAL BREAK)

GRAHAM: I`m back with Texas congressman, former presidential candidate and Campaign for Liberty founder, Ron Paul.

And Congressman Paul, I am excited that you`re getting young people excited about libertarian ideas, pumped up. Will they be playing a role in the presidential election? Will you be backing the libertarian candidate, Bob Barr?

PAUL: I have not made that decision as of now, no. I haven`t endorsed anybody for the presidency. We`re mainly working on a grand celebration of liberty, a rally in Minneapolis on September 2. But maybe after that, I might think about it. But there`s a friend running in for the Constitutional Party -- on the Constitutional Party ticket as well as Bob Barr.

GRAHAM: I`m curious about this mini-convention you`re going to have while the Republicans are in Minneapolis. Is that the plan? Are you there to protest? Are you there to amplify? What`s the goal?

PAUL: Well, it`s a philosophic protest, but it`s not even nearby. It`s like eight miles away. And it`s to help celebrate what was accomplished in this last year and a half. The hundreds of thousands of people that have worked in the campaign, as well as over a million votes and over millions more that have been interested.

It`s to come there, and to celebrate what we have done, and make plans for the future. But it`s not there to disrupt or be confrontational or demonstrate or anything like that. It`s to be very positive and to emphasize why more freedom is necessary, not more government.

GRAHAM: And of course, you`ve got to love libertarian protesters. They respect private property. They don`t burn anything, turn anything over.

But I do want to ask about the concern that I`ve heard from some people who really don`t want to see Democrats take control of the White House. They`re very concerned about it. And they`re concerned, Congressman Paul, that your movement might be the Ralph Nader movement of 2008. Might make just enough different in just the right states to give the election to Senator Obama.

PAUL: Well, if it`s motivating some Republicans to put pressure on our nominee to be more conservative, that`s good.

But what they don`t understand is that the No. 1 group of people who come to our campaign are young people who may be Obama supporters. So the Republican Party really should be encouraging me, because I can compete and draw people away from Obama, because he doesn`t offer anything for change. His foreign policy isn`t any different. His foreign policy is the same as McCain`s foreign policy.

So I would say that I would get more votes drawn away from Obama than from McCain.

I don't think Dr. Paul or anyone else understood what a threat his historical candidacy represented to Israel when he began.

I was at the ice cream sundae social given by the Pauls that Thursday night in Houston. The video presentation followed by Dr. Paul's speech was wonderful, but his suspending of the campaign was not made clear. When I returned to my hotel that evening and read on his website that he was done, I was stunned. The next morning, it was evident that some of my fellow Paulites were not aware, and wouldn't believe it until they read it themselves. After having been subjected to the second "it's for our children's futures" speech by Newt 33rd Degree Mason Gingrich, and just before Huckleberry's appearance, I bowed out of the convention Friday afternoon. Being in the same room with so many self-righteous killers was just plain nauseating; they are cult-members. Yeah, sure it was a life-time experience, but I sure wouldn't have spent the money and time if I'd known Ron had to quit. I don't blame him, and I did get my book autographed, at least.

Newt 33rd Degree Mason Gingrich

By the way there was an article in the wall street journal in the 80s that referenced arlen specter and jack kemp being 33rd degree masons also. This was included in PAUL FISHeRS excellent book BEHIND THE LODGE DOOR,.

The WSJ article was a favorable article and the article was not about masonry itself but these facts were just mentioned in passing.Fisher's book has hundreds of pages of footnotes, he worked among other thing as a congressional aide and had easy access to library of congress, etc and many other records. many of them official declassified military records re: freemasonry.

I would reference the article by name but i loaned my boook to a friend and havent got it back yet. anyway i highly recommend it along with fishers other book THEIR GOD IS THE DEVIL.
