Nothing nefarious; it's a personal tracker. It has an audio alarm that, when activated, sends a message to one of two programmed phone numbers. Voice capability is like a walkie-talkie. Uses satellite GPS for high-accuracy positioning. Can aquire position in less than 3 seconds. Has accelerometer (did you fall? crash?). Can be programmed to periodically send position.

It's kinda like an enhanced, portable "OnStar."
