Even the most ardent of Barack Obama's supporters generally will confess to a small, nagging (dare I say niggling?) doubt about the object of their ardor. Similarly, even Obama's most vocal opposition stops and stares just a bit overlong when they see him speaking. What an odd situation. Obama Nation or Abomination? I recall the JFK era and, while Obama is no JFK - not by a far stretch, I might add - some similarities do exist, similarities that have more to do with grace and appearance than with character and substance. Put your prejudices aside and admit it: Not only is Barack Obama rather handsome, he moves and speaks with a natural grace unseen on the national stage in quite some time. Pay just a little attention, however, and it becomes clear that Obama never really says anything. That is no mistake and it is not because he has nothing to say, either. He knows exactly what he is doing, rest assured. Obama puts the smoke with the mirrors of Jerry Brown's classic observation about politics: "A little vagueness goes a long way in this business." In reality, everybody should be more than a little apprehensive about the prospect of an Obamanation in the making. Everybody. Black. White. Young. Old. Christian. Muslim. Jewish. Conservative. Liberal. Republican. Democrat. Patriot. ... Everybody. Baracknophobia Call it Baracknophobia, if you will. Some spiders will bite anyone, after all; therefore, anybody with arachnophobia has good cause for an irrationally obsessive fear of spiders. So, too, I suggest that we all could do with a good bit more Baracknophobia. Some have mused that Obama may be the Anti-Christ. Perhaps. If ever he pulls out a blue cap (read Nostradamus), I may join them. After all, who else at this level of politics in the world today possibly could appeal equally to Christian and Muslim worlds? But, it needn't get that bad for an Obama presidency to be a really bad idea. Christian Baracknophobes Though claiming to be Christian himself, Obama makes little secret of his anti-Christian outlook. His mentor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, switched from being a rabidly radical and racist Black Muslim to being a rabidly radical and racist Christian, a pattern emulated by Obama himself. During a speech given in 2007, Obama stated that "Whatever we once were, we're no longer a Christian nation." What's more, consider the following quote from Obama's first little book, Dreams of My Father: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction." Obama's very real Muslim upbringing and adult influences should give pause to the most forgiving of Christians. Muslim Baracknophobes Almost the instant after confirming his capture of the Democrat Presidential nomination, Barack Obama appeared before the single largest Jewish lobbying organization, AIPAC, and pronounced, "As president I will never compromise when it comes to Israeli security." Obama also spoke of strengthening US-Israeli relations and giving Israel $30 billion to "ensure Israel's qualitative military advantage." Speaking of Iran, Obama stated twice that, "I will do everything in my power to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon ... everything." Obama told the assembled Jewish leaders that he learned about the Holocaust from a camp counselor at age 11 and claimed that his great-uncle helped to liberate Buchenwald. Quite aside from Obama's obvious pandering mixed with groveling before the sworn blood enemies of Islam, Muslims have got to wonder about Obama's reported Muslim upbringing and just how such abject hypocrisy fits in with their belief systems. Result: Baracknophobia. Jewish Baracknophobes Deny it all you want, but facts are facts: the current conflict raging in the world is Jewish vs. Muslim and, though highly politicized and propagandized, Jewish vs. Christian. The latter fact is relevant only insofar as Christian America has been thrown into the breach and used to fight Judaism's war against Islam, just like always. If you are Jewish, this is just as it should be, of course - just as it always has been. Obama's natural father was a Kenyan Black Muslim. After Obama's father deserted them, his mother married an Indonesian Muslim. They lived in Jakarta, where Obama was schooled in a Muslim School. Obama participated in Louis Farrakhan's Black Muslim Million Man March. Again, don't forget that little quote from Obama's first little book, Dreams of My Father: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction." Now you know all you need to know in order to be a Jewish Baracknophobe. White Baracknophobes From John Christian Ryter's web site, the following: "From their private rhetoric and their willing association with racists like Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama and his wife Michelle can both be viewed as anti-white and anti-Semitic. Michelle Obama, who reportedly is not known by Chicagoans as a nice person, spoke in a campaign speech for her husband at Trinity United Church of Christ on May 5, 2008 in which she went on a diatribe against "whitey"—a term she used several times to describe America's "rich white middle class." She did not realize she was being recorded until her words made the Rush Limbaugh Show. Limbaugh noted that Michelle Obama's speech was videotaped by the church. But, Obama's damage control moved swiftly after the first rumors of his wife's "whitey remarks" hit the airwaves. The video of Michelle Obama's anti-white speech—which would have been good for private fundraising—was destroyed. When the Obama Campaign was queried by the media about the video of his wife's May 5 Trinity speech, the campaign confidently assured the media "...no such tape exists."" Obama's mother was White, but you never hear anything about her side of his family. Obama talks only of the African man who conceived Obama while wed to another and then abandoned him. From Obama's first little book, Dreams of My Father: "I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race." Also from Dreams of My Father: "I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites." Google up some recent pictures of Detroit. Google up the FBI web site and track down the statistics on Black on White crime today (50 times as much violent crime from individual Blacks as from individual Whites). Obama was a member of virulent racist, anti-White Rev. Wright's church for 20 years. Wright performed the Obamas' marriage. Only after a public outcry did Obama condemn Rev. Wright's "God damn America" sermon. Then, consider the following from Obama's wife Michelle's graduate thesis: "There was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the black community, I am obligated to this community and will utilize all of my present and future resources to benefit the black community first and foremost." Nice sentiment from a potential First Lady, eh? Obama has demanded that the "White community" invest more money in black schools and communities and provide this generation of blacks with "ladders of opportunity" not available to Barack’s generation. Excuse me? What did Obama and his wife get through school on - merit? Don't make me laugh. Ever since that odious Supreme Court decision from 1955, Brown vs. Board of Education, my generation has given up much of what my forebears attained to achieve parity between Whites and Blacks. Yet, still a divide exists. There comes a time to admit that it is not lack of opportunity or funding and might just reflect a fundamental difference between the races. Starting to feel a little nervous about voting for Obama? That's your Baracknophobia acting up. Black Baracknophobes Obama and his wife, Michelle, both are products of Affirmative Action education. In some ways, one might call them the poster children for Affirmative Action. Affirmative Action, now that it has been institutionalized, putting the lie to its being emplaced for only a generation, to provide a leg up in compensation for past discrimination, really is a euphemism for the singularly liberal belief that "Blacks can't compete equally, so must always be provided an advantage." The advantage? Handicap White America, of course. If I were Black, that fact alone would infuriate me about all who advocate and, even, argue for the extension of Affirmative Action, as does Obama. The difference between Barack and Michelle is one of verbal stridency, with Michelle sounding overtly (and, thus, more honestly) anti-White and hostile all down through the years. Michelle's Princeton graduate thesis even echoed her discontent when she described her White classmates and teachers as seeing her, always, as "Black first, student second." She also wrote: "My experience at Princeton made me far more aware of my blackness than ever before. I have found that at Princeton no matter now liberal and open-minded some of my white professors and classmates try to be toward me, I sometimes feel like a visitor on campus as if I really don't belong..." (Princeton Educated Blacks and the Black Community, M. Robinson graduate thesis, Princeton Univ.). Well, when you took that affirmative action place that rightfully belonged to another, more qualified, student, what were you supposed to feel, Michelle? You started out over your head, stayed there and then chose to cast it in racial terms, not those of differing abilities. Only when Barack began winning Presidential primaries did Michelle say, "Let me tell you something. For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country." That leaves little room to wonder as to her outlook all those years before, doesn't it? Even if the time is right for a Black President, Obama is not the right Black for the Presidency. This simple fact, alone, should make every Black step back and think twice about electing someone who so obviously is wrong and, equally obviously, is doomed to failure. Old Baracknophobes Liberals like Obama have three sources from which to finance their dreams of societal rebuilding: taxes, inflation and debt. Taxes under Obama will rise, to be sure - Bush already has guaranteed that with his profligate spending - but that will be drop in the ocean of his ambition. Debt will increase, too - it has too, so long as we are running international trade deficits (now approaching one trillion dollars per year, too). However, the serious source of financing will be the same as that discovered by Bush: inflation. Obama simply will push the printing presses into overdrive, with each new dollar printed diluting the value of those that have gone before. Seniors, in particular, are locked into fixed incomes and established financial assets like annuities - all of which suffer the most from inflation. In particular, the old should run screaming from the prospect of an Obama presidency. Young Baracknophobes Remember the debt I mentioned above, one of the prime reservoirs of financing for liberal ideologues? Essentially, debt of this magnitude turns our young into wage slaves for their entire lives, paying just the interest on the debt incurred for the benefit of the current generation. The young should, even more than the old, have a healthy dose of Baracknophobia. Conservative Baracknophobes The US Communist Party newspaper, Peoples' Weekly World, regularly prints articles praising Obama as the "new beacon of Socialism" in America. During the recent primary campaign, Obama stated, "It's not surprising that small town (middle-class Whites) get bitter. They cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-free-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations." In this single rather remarkable statement, Obama admits that he is anti-religion, pro-immigration, pro-free-trade and anti-gun. Is it any wonder that Obama's slim, 3-year voting record in the US Senate has marked him as the single most liberal senator in America? Aside from that simple fact, however, is the fact that Obama is the single, least-qualified person ever to run for President. His ten years prior to his recent junior Senator stint were spent as a community activist in Chicago, albeit in both city and state political roles. The man has done nothing - absolutely nothing to distinguish himself. He quite literally is an empty suit. Liberal Baracknophobes In an interview, Obama called his mother, "the dominant figure in my formative years …The values she taught me continue to be my touchstone when it comes to how I go about the world of politics." Though Obama sometimes tries to evoke an image of his mother being just a conservative Kansan schoolgirl, the truth is that she was a radical cultural Marxist and dedicated leftist of the first order, one with a predilection for Black men so profound as to belie her own self-hating, anti-White beliefs. Obama's mother's outlook was formed in Mercer Island High School, Bellevue, Washington, which has been described as being "a hotbed of pro-Marxist radical teachers" at the time she attended, one that had a Communist on its Board and several unapologetically-Marxist teachers on staff who advocated rejection of societal norms, rejection of Christianity and the family and assigned readings by Karl Marx. This is the fount from which Obama claims his "touchstone values" flow. There is liberal and then there is Communist, the singular invention of Russian Jew Karl Marx. One is American as apple pie. The other is anti-American in the extreme. Yes, all these years of a so-called "conservative" like George W. Bush makes anybody look attractive. Problem is, Bush was the idiot-child President. Obama, if his "touchstone values" truly are rooted in Communism, could be far worse. Republican Baracknophobes Even at a time when there truly is not a dime's worth of difference between the two major American political parties, Obama's "most liberal" voting record in the Senate places him in stark contrast with all Republicans, providing something more than the simple illusion of choice. Democrat Baracknophobes Though running as a Democrat, Obama's roots are Islamic, through and through. Born into Islam of a Communist mother, then abandoned by his Muslim father, Obama then was raised by his mother's second husband, yet another Black Muslim! Patriot Baracknophobes We've all heard the hoo ha about Obama not saluting the flag nor joining in with singing the National Anthem, not to mention his on-again-off-again wearing of a suit lapel flag pin. Now listen to his own words: "As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides ... There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it." Obama voted for the recently-defeated McCain-Kennedy Amnesty Bill. Obama voted against a bill to declare English as America's official language. As a Chicago state senator, Obama sponsored a bill to ban all handguns throughout the state of Illinois. Feeling a bit woozy yet, fellow patriots? Consider the Context The coming times are custom made for rabble-rousing ideologues like Huey Long, Adolf Hitler and ... Barack Obama. Bad times. Hard times. Brother-can-you-spare-a-$10-bill times. The American President will be the first to whom people look for their savior when the economy hits bottom (like a falling plane, the worst that has happened so far is that your luggage has fallen out of the overhead compartment and you have been distracted by figuring out how to wear the mask that fell down a few moments later and wondering vaguely how your seat bottom cushion can be made into a life preserver - it's the upcoming quick stop at the end that will do all the real damage). The coming crash will be one of epic proportions. Regrettably, given what has been allowed to happen under Clinton and Bush the Lesser, the very best of men now would be able to do little except mutter solicitously and pass around the band-aids. Regrettably, Obama is not among the best of men. The opportunity he will have to accelerate his position of power will be unprecedented - something glimpsed only in George W. Bush's most addled of alcohol-induced visions. America's real rulers have used Bush to emplace the most draconian police state ever conceived. It matters not that there has yet to be a wholesale roundup and slaughter of American citizens because the mechanism, procedures and organizations have been created and now are in place. Imagine what somebody with an above-room-temperature IQ might now do with this awesome buildup. Obama may not be the Anti-Christ, but, if elected America's next President, he could well turn out to be the next-worst thing. What Could Possibly be Worse? On the other hand, if Obama loses the election, as I think most likely if the powers that be can keep the vote totals close enough to steal the election outright, just as they did for George W. Bush, then I think a Black uprising is very possible, particularly if America's economic picture has noticeably worsened in the meanwhile. Though the CFR chose Obama, previously I have stated that I do not think they believe they truly can control him. Therefore, they dare not let him actually assume power in America. Do they? They may, however, choose the dramatic and simply have Obama assassinated by a "White Supremacist" patsy, a la JFK and Lee Harvey Oswald, either before or after the election, depending upon Obama's choice of VP candidate. Again, look for racial violence to break out should this be orchestrated. Regardless, of what happens, I keep coming back to Lily Tomlin's classic, "Things will get worse only after they get much worse!" Says nothing????? Perfect example of this was when asked on national TV what he would do if Israel were attacked. McKooK and Clinton were ready for major war to protect Israel. Obama?????....."I would take appropriate action"... Now that is a pure non answer and no one called him out on it, he got a pass.
