LOL! That Fox News guy came off as a TOTAL idiot. You could find a ninth-grader with an interest in science who could have asked better, more meaningful questions. As far as any passenger applications, forget it. Ain't gonna happen for the same reason the Concorde isn't flying any longer: Fuel costs per passenger mile. Nifty tech, sure. But is Aunt Sally gonna get on one of these someday to fly to Australia from San Diego in under two hours? Dream on. Pigs will fly first.

This plane flies 10,000 mph. But the secret government has planes that can fly 40,000 mph. If we had full disclosure we could force them to release the following information: !) All new power sources that could solve our energy problems. 2) All anti-gravity reserch. A Stanford professor told me that he believes they have anti-gravity. 3) All materrial science breakthroughs. Their planes fly through the atmosphere at 40,000 mph without burning up. 4) All Tesla technology.

There has been much speculation about an "Arora" plane. It supposedly used methane that was expelled behind the plane and ignited, thus providing propulsion. The outline of the plane in the video looks very similar to the "graphic illustrations" of the non-existent Arora. Chuck Harder commented on this perhaps 5 years ago and said that persons in California could set their watches in the morning by the sonic booms. For what it's worth.
