With her decision, she joined a growing band of supporters of Senator Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, who are expressing solidarity with him by informally adopting his middle name. -Snip

As this election charade "progresses" race will become the intimidating factor as any person that is anti Obummer will be labeled a hater. Dividing the country on race is the "system" at work doing its best. The final outcome may not be to the liking and interest of the white race.
Especially for the low/middle class whites who have slipped into the comfortable fog of insanity. As they continue to hump their tired asses back and forth to work, they'll find less opportunity thanks to the color of their skin and their age. They will rationalize it for a time, but reality will kick in eventually. I can't wait for that moment.
You left out the other qualifying pc terms..."undereducated and bitter". Undereducated is Obama speak or PC for stupid. Bitter is Obameese for hating those of position and wealth.
"White guilt" is interesting too. You use "White" because Caucasians like that, it sounds, just, enlightened, as in the good guys wear white hats. Nobody likes the fact they are colored, and if that color is in a range of pasty tones. "Guilt" you use to admonish people for not taking advantage of an arbitrary value placed on a meaningless and minor physical difference between people whose ancestors lived with allot of sunlight and those who didn't, it's merely a spin.
Mike... All Semites were a COLORED race that came out of Asia long ago. Find me one Jew in the US that has COLORED on any ID. "it's merely a spin." Mike look at the numbers, whites are a minority race and losing ground every year. That should make all people of color happy.
Whites are colored too, there are very very few albinos out there. The law of diffusion is honored in physics because it is incontrovertible, and works elegantly efficiently as expected one hundred percent of the time. We as a people will blur together over time, and this is a good thing. Breeding mixes, and mixing is healthy. Sorry Cyni, but your worry is a parable much like any that gave birth to the comedic children's book with a chicken little screaming in horror to anyone who will listen that the sky is falling. We have to worry most about the people of the United States and the world in general, not about meaningless differences between them.
If that BS were true, Latin American countries would be the most prosperous in the world. They're not, especially when you compare them to "unmixed" places like Finland or Japan.
Why it is true. Ask any genetics savvy person why hybrids are so vigorous. I was married to a woman of African heritage and our son and grand kids are smart and very healthy flourishing. And this next century's end will see many more people of mixed racial heritage and a people past the tipping point of caring about the irrational viewpoint you express here about the fact that there will be, Race is a minor aspect about a person. I don't give a rip about color or other trappings of race, I care about what kind of person they are overall.
I see that you carefully avoided the question of why mixed race countries like those in most of Latin America are shitholes while racially pure countries like Finland and Japan are the wealthiest and most technologically advanced. If racial mixing worked the wonders that you say that it does, you'd think it would be the other way around.
