Emily Nordling has never met a Muslim, at least not to her knowledge. But this spring, Ms. Nordling, a 19-year-old student from Fort Thomas, Ky., gave herself a new middle name on Facebook.com, mimicking her boyfriend and shocking her father.

With her decision, she joined a growing band of supporters of Senator Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, who are expressing solidarity with him by informally adopting his middle name.

As this election charade "progresses" race will become the intimidating factor as any person that is anti Obummer will be labeled a hater.

Dividing the country on race is the "system" at work doing its best. The final outcome may not be to the liking and interest of the white race.

Especially for the low/middle class whites who have slipped into the comfortable fog of insanity. As they continue to hump their tired asses back and forth to work, they'll find less opportunity thanks to the color of their skin and their age. They will rationalize it for a time, but reality will kick in eventually. I can't wait for that moment.

You left out the other qualifying pc terms..."undereducated and bitter".

Undereducated is Obama speak or PC for stupid. Bitter is Obameese for hating those of position and wealth.

"White guilt" is interesting too. You use "White" because Caucasians like that, it sounds, just, enlightened, as in the good guys wear white hats. Nobody likes the fact they are colored, and if that color is in a range of pasty tones.

"Guilt" you use to admonish people for not taking advantage of an arbitrary value placed on a meaningless and minor physical difference between people whose ancestors lived with allot of sunlight and those who didn't, it's merely a spin.

Mike...

All Semites were a COLORED race that came out of Asia long ago. Find me one Jew in the US that has COLORED on any ID.

"it's merely a spin." Mike look at the numbers, whites are a minority race and losing ground every year. That should make all people of color happy.

Whites are colored too, there are very very few albinos out there.

The law of diffusion is honored in physics because it is incontrovertible, and works elegantly efficiently as expected one hundred percent of the time.

We as a people will blur together over time, and this is a good thing. Breeding mixes, and mixing is healthy.

Sorry Cyni, but your worry is a parable much like any that gave birth to the comedic children's book with a chicken little screaming in horror to anyone who will listen that the sky is falling.

We have to worry most about the people of the United States and the world in general, not about meaningless differences between them.

I know French, and am learning Spanish. Chinese just doesn't interest me.

You know, it is awful hard to say you would do better then another man in a given situation; but I do know one thing.

In 1980 when activists discovered Japanese fishermen on Iki Island butchering bottle nosed dolphins for having the audacity to eat fish like they had been doing for centuries, one angrily bullied one of them to take a machete and whack at a dying cetacean in order to save his hide from the wrath of these angry, self righteous and greedily blood thirty swine.

He complied, and saved his ass.

I would of made the guy handing me the machete shorter with his body starting at the knee joints instead of his smelly feet. I have no doubt about that at all.

It's always seemed to me that there's nothing more self-righteous than an animal rights activist. They think they're so damned morally superior to the rest of us because they don't kill animals and don't eat meat.

Human beings are the most highly evolved creatures on earth, and that gives us every right to kill lower life forms for food, or because they stand in our way. I support conservation from the standpoint of sustaining our natural resources (I'm all for preventing overfishing or clear-cutting so that there will be fish and timber for the next generation), but not because other animals have any "rights."

Being at the top of the evolutionary ladder ought to give us some perks.

Tursiops truncatus (also T. aduncus), which is the bottle nosed dolphin has a larger brain with more cortical surface area then we have. The brain is tucked and folded because the outer part of the neocortex us the thinking part of this newest part of the brain evolutionarily speaking.

They remember 12 to 14 nonsense syllables to the human 6 to 3, can gage each other's emotion using radar to check out physiological factors that change with emotional states, which is different then us as we use facial recognition to do this.

Sorry bud, they are as intelligent or more intelligent then us little old opposing thumb primates. We have hands and our younger species has been effective thriving and grabbing as much of the planet they can, but we have no call to kill FELLOW animals this smart and this evolved.

You are full of shit.

You're right. Dolphins must be as smart or smarter than we are. All of this time, I've been missing out on all of those dolphin cities, dolphin spacecraft, and dolphin computers. Silly me.

As far as I can see, Japanese making dolphin burgers are no different from me cooking pork chops for dinner tonight. They say pigs are pretty smart too.

So you can take your holier than thou animal rights crap to someone who gives a damn. I'm not stopping you from eating your tofu (what's it to me how you live your life), so who are you to tell some guy in Japan (or me) what he can or can't eat? You started out by calling the Japanese fishers self-righteous, well, my definition of self-righteous is someone who tells other people what to do or how to live.

I go bow hunting most every year bubba, and I eat meat. I have studied cetaceans and agree with Dr. John C. Lilly's cutting edge work on their intelligence.

If the Chinese had jealously guarded their invention of gunpowder and been ruthlessly imperialistic, one could then postulate that Han Chinese are inherently superior to all other races as they rule so much of the Earth. Yours' is a false premise.

You are correct, they do not have hands, but they have been documented using tools and the physics of water in an incredibly intuitive way.

That you are so specio-centric you cannot see farther off the end of your nose then a flat Earther once did is no concern of mine. That is your problem.

Lilly's website is still up and running, and I recommend any of several books and research papers by him for a truly enlightened idea about why dolphins are peers, not prey.

Senile seniors and speech limited toddlers are not very productive but it's OUR humanity that causes us to protect them. So too with dolphins - we see that they have intelligence, that they are special, they gravitate to man - dolphins will protect scuba divers from shark attacks. Civilized nations are considered so because civilized people have the intelligence and heart, humanity of you will, to recognize that some beings are special and need protection, even though they cannot build cities.
