I remember all the great things Coleman Young did as the first black mayor of Detroit. Carl Stokes in Cleveland, Richard Hatcher in Gary, Harold Washington in Chicago, Maynard Jackson in Atlanta, Wilson Goode in Philly, David Dinkins in New York all took their cities to new heights.

Just imagine the wonderful Big Rock Candy Mountains that will grace the whole United States with the First Black President. It's gonna be so awesome.

I forgot Walter Washington, the first black mayor of DC. His successor Marion Barry was even more successful.
