CASA Planning to Rally ICE Arrests Last Update: 9:27 am
Casa de Maryland Inc. is planning a rally this morning in Baltimore in protest of the ICE arrests of 45 illegal immigrants in Anne Arundel County Monday.
The group says it is devastated by the raid and plan to denounce it this morning. They claim such raids have social and moral consequences and they are demanding they be put to an end.
On Monday morning, Federal Immigration Officials arrested 45 illegal immigrants who were reportedly working as painters at an Annapolis painting company. They are all currently being detained by ICE, the Immigration Customs Enforcement agency.
County Executive John Leopold says 50 Anne Arundel County police officers assisted in the raid.
