REDDICK - Marion County sheriff's deputies arrested an undocumented immigrant from Guanajuato, Mexico, on Sunday evening on charges of molesting an 8-year-old girl.

The victim's grandmother entered a bedroom and found Martin Ramirez Garcia, 43, with the girl, sheriff's Detective Mariam Diaz said.

"She didn't see the actual touching, but she saw him on top of her," Diaz said. "The grandmother beat him off of her."

According to the arrest affidavit, the victim told an investigator that Ramirez Garcia touched her inappropriately over her clothing on several occasions and exposed himself to her. Diaz said the victim's 5-year-old sister also saw Garcia touch the 8-year-old but was not a victim herself.

In a videotaped interview, Ramirez Garcia admitted touching the girl three times and exposing himself to her, according to the affidavit.

"When asked if he touched the 5-year-old, [Ramirez Garcia] said no," Diaz said. "He said she was too young."

Garcia was taken to the Marion County Jail and charged with lewd and lascivious molestation and lewd and lascivious exhibition. (1 image)

What a relief to know he had some standards...

Illegal immigrants should be summarily shot on sight and thrown in a ditch. They are criminals and invaders. They don't deserve due process, protection, legal council, or "human" rights. They are an unaffordable blight on this nation.

Wrong answer. Everyone's rights are protected when due process is adhered to. No short curcuit of it to do highly emotional lynchings is good for anyone, as where do you draw the line?

He is a disgusting bastard, but due process is more then a right, it is a protection.

True justice is best served up when it is more then the product of high emotion or done in a way that panders to the worst in people.

I'm for sending the illegals home. But shooting people on site is wrong. What happens if you shoot someone who isn't here illegally but maybe here legally?

If he's on my property, he's still a trespasser.

The topic of racial variation is admittedly disturbing, and in an ideal world might be passed over in silence, but accusations against whites have made such discretion impossible. The right of the accused to present his case includes the right to raise issues that distress his accuser. A plaintiff demanding damages for a broken leg cannot ask at the same time that his leg not be talked about, nor take offense when the defendant presents evidence that the injury was congenital. By claiming harm he opens up the question of why his leg is game. Claiming racial harm has opened the topic of racial differences.

I have no problem with anyone shooting a child molester caught in the act. Or beating them to a pulp with their bare hands. I was addressing the point made by the above poster that said shoot illegals on sight. See the difference?

Wrong answer.

Back at you. In a nation of sanctuary cities and police chiefs who refuse to allow officers to ask about the status of immigrants, due process is a limp offering by a system lackey. Whereas my option will end the invasion, yours ensures a continued slide into collapse.

Put a sock in it. I am not interested in fascism and the lynch mob.

Due process is a valuable investment in time and money less efficient then the sleek efficiency of totalitarianism, but well worth it as it protects everyone's rights, not just that of immigrants.

There is a custom in parts of Mexico where the Dad kisses the loins of a male heir after baptism. I know because a photo developer turned in party pictures of this to the police of a Dad doing this.

They arrested the man, then verified the practice and that it was a ceremonial act celebrating the continuation of the family name and dropped charges. The family of the man and him involved was rightfully surprised and taken aback my the arrest.

Cultural misunderstandings are usually like that.

Under your system, he would of been given the rope by a xenophobic and temperamental crowd to whom law is applied with balls and no brain work.

I have no use for this, it is a wrong answer.

I wonder if some would be comfortable with "honor killing" of their own daughters such as the father in Georgia???

So is hacking off their foreskin. I would of rather my dad kiss me then have the knife hit me.

For every example of a disgusting ritual you find in a culture elsewhere there is an American custom as gross or more you could cite as disgusting as well.

It's part of being human.

That was a good one. I'm circumcised. It didn't hurt at all. I remember no pain. You may rather get a bj then be circumcised. But from your dad, come on.

Who would pay for this due process you want for the Invaders, and what would it cost? Be brief, as your rambling liberalism is difficult to stand.

How very Mexican of Dad. All the more reason to keep the virus contained in Mexico.
