Yeah, I'm late to the party.

Holy Crap!! If only 50% of this book is true, the Kennedy "dynasty" is the sleaziest genetic line in American history. From mayor Fitzgerald to Old Man Kennedy, they just didn't obey ANY laws. And I've come to have a new disgust and revulsion for ALL of the MSM for their continuing elevation of the Kennedy Klan as AMERICA'S FIRST FAMILY, they've covered up and excused the WORST excesses of human behavior all within ONE family.

The same is true of The Crowd.

From a socionomic perspective, the publication of this book is interesting. If it sells well, it speaks to the size of the bear market. Bear markets trash bull market icons. The actual person can never live up to the crowd's symbolic idealization.

Declines are not caused by scandalous behavior; it is declines that render the behavior scandalous, and scandal sells.

The topic of racial variation is admittedly disturbing, and in an ideal world might be passed over in silence, but accusations against whites have made such discretion impossible. The right of the accused to present his case includes the right to raise issues that distress his accuser. A plaintiff demanding damages for a broken leg cannot ask at the same time that his leg not be talked about, nor take offense when the defendant presents evidence that the injury was congenital. By claiming harm he opens up the question of why his leg is game. Claiming racial harm has opened the topic of racial differences.

We had a post awhile back about Joe Kennedy giving a lobotomy yo his daughter because he could not control her.

I will add that to the fact that the Kennedy brothers killed Marilyn Monroe to what I say to explain that family to people I meet.
