According to reports, Alabama Attorney General Troy King, who has called homosexuality the “downfall of society,” has allegedly been caught in a gay sex scandal.

King, a conservative Republican, was reportedly caught by his wife Paige King having sex with a male assistant in their Montgomery home. Reports say King was kicked out of his home by his wife and is set to resign over the scandal.

King is known for voicing his opposition of abortion and homosexuality. He has worked to outlaw sex toys in Alabama. King frequently wrote editorials for The Crimson White in which he called homosexuality the “downfall of society.”

In 2004, King was appointed to Attorney General by Alabama Governor Bob Riley. He previously serves as the Assistant Attorney General. King is considered a potential candidate for Alabama governor in 2010.

Isn't being a closet homosexual pretty much a requirement for running on the GOP ticket nowadays? Heck, give the guy credit because at least he was having gay sex with an adult, that makes him a moral giant in that party....

The way these POSs continuously show up amongs those "opposed" to the behavior publically arouses my innate suspicion. You couldn't do a better job de-legitamizing an ideology than having a lot of apparently upstanding members of the ideology getting caught doing it with regularity. Call me paranoid, but it appears that there are Manchurian candidates loose amongst the body politic...

Plus, in general, the more powerful the state, the more corrupt. Normal people don't want that kind of power.

Oddly enough, my "paranoia" and/or "eccentricities" have made me a decent amount of money and enhanced security in the last 5 years while leaving a LOT of my associates wondering if that "long haired geologist isn't actually on to something"...

Of course, most of them will pull the trigger on changing their operating parameters right around the time gold is ~$5,000, silver is $200, a gallon of gasoline is $15, a box of .308 is $150 and the median national home price is $50,000.
