Their attitude is that ALL of the southwestern US is theirs because of some ridiculous fairy tale they have been taught about the mythical land of Atzlan.
Liberty is not a means to a higher political end. It is itself the highest political end. They're well on the way to getting it, too. If the US military were truly defending the country, it would be on the Mexican border instead of in Iraq.
A point I have made to quite a few people. It is laughable to claim we are fighting a "war on terror"* and Whore Hey leaves our southern border virtually unguarded and undefended. *Which is, in itself, a ridiculous claim because it is war on a tactic, not an enemy which can be seen and which wears a uniform so that you will know who to shoot at. Or when you have "won."
