US Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama will meet Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas next week, officials said on Monday. Senior Palestinian diplomat Saeb Erakat confirmed that Obama would visit Abbas in the occupied West Bank town of Ramallah on July 23. "President Abbas welcomes this important visit and considers it evidence of the importance of the Palestinian issue in American foreign policy," he said. Obama will also meet Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert either on the same day or the previous evening, according to an Israeli official. Both meetings will come after a stopover in Jordan, where Obama will meet King Abdullah II. Obama is also expected to visit Germany, France and Britain before the end of July in his first international tour since effectively securing the Democratic Party nomination. He is also due to travel in the next month or so to Iraq and Afghanistan, although details have not been made public for security reasons. Republican presidential candidate John McCain visited Israel in March as part of a Senate fact-finding mission but did not meet Abbas. Obama sparked outrage among Palestinians in early June when he told a major US pro-Israel lobbying group that Jerusalem must remain the "undivided" capital of Jerusalem. The international community including the United States does not recognise Israel's claim to Arab east Jerusalem, which it seized and annexed in the 1967 war but which the Palestinians want as the capital of their future state. Obama has since backed away from the remarks, saying the future status of the city should be negotiated by Israel and the Palestinians and that everyone should have access to its holy sites, sacred to Jews, Christians, and Muslims.

Obama is such an empty suit. That he did not know anything about the Jerusalem controversy and glibly waded into that issue with his big yap because of his limited world history knowledge demonstrates that Obama is as intellectually shallow as Junior. What was Obama's major in his under graduate degree? I'll go out on a limb and guess it was either sociology or black studies.
Obama earned an undergraduate degree from Columbia University in 1983.
But...but, Obama's supporters promised us that their boy BHO would put an end to AIPAC's rule over America once and for all! They couldn't possibly be deluded, could they?
After he earned his undergraduate degree in political science...

Most of the squibs speak of his under grad degree but carefully avoid naming political sci.. All stress his Hahvud LAW degree...One has to remember that many states do NOT require attending law school to be licensed.
Polisci is one step up from sociology, anthro, black studies, feminists studies the latter 4 occupying the bottom rung of college courses for dummies. Obama must have known he was going into law to select polisci as a major. ha! But surely even in polisci classes Obama must have encountered some modern world history.
The pictures of Bush and McCain are hysterical. Bush looks hammered and befuddled and appears to be trying to hold himself either up or away from the wall with his hands (like he's afraid he's going to bonk his grape off the wall and dislodge the hat) while McCain looks confused and befuddled since he's gotten his finger caught in the crack in the wall and is concerned he'll never get it out. Lieberman is reassuring him that they'll find some way to free his finger. The thing that confuses me is that Obama and McCain are ostensibly running for President in this country, yet they've made what's called "campaign stops" in places like South America and Israel.

I understand that Obummer will have his beanie on, sans a propeller, when he snivels at the whining wall. There is no truth to the rumor that Tel Aviv said he had to wear knee pads and be checked for circumcision.
Apparently, he was checked often at Trinity Church. Some of the checkers are dead though. They got obamacided! ;-)
