Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr praised Al Gore on Thursday for his commitment to addressing climate change and said he has met with the former vice president several times to discuss possible solutions.

In a speech Thursday at Constitution Hall in Washington, Gore said that he has also discussed climate change with presidential candidates Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.).

Well there goes any chance of Barr getting my vote. This has got to be the suckiest election ever!

Yeah, something's up with all the politicians jumping on the Global Warming bandwagon...they see this as another tool to control the masses, an excuse to 'guilt' us into accepting the 'solution' they offer.

Screw that, I work in the Oil & Gas industry, and I say Drill, drill, drill!!

I have decided to vote for Ron Paul rather than Bob Barr. Voting for McCain or Obama is far beyond my ability to discern the lesser of two evils.

Likewise...there is NO WAY IN HELL I will vote for McCain or Obama...or Barr, for that matter.

The lesser of two (or three) evils is still EVIL.

Voting the lesser of two (or three) evils means compromising on minor issues in favor of larger and more important issues. The choices we are given does not lend itself to that scenario.

The problem with writing in Ron Paul is that unless he is an official write in candidate, those votes will not be counted.

You are correct.

It is actually a State decision. Many States will not count write in votes.

Sad that we can't just vote for the person we want. How cool would it be to have Micky Mouse or Santa Clause win?

Santa Clara California counts write in votes. They give you a choice of touch screen machines or old fashioned ballot machines that allow write ins.

American voters should show up to cast their ballots dressed up in Halloween costumes with large purple thumbs and with news reporters in tow so that the world could see what we think of our choices - put up jobs like what the Iraqis had to choose from. It might send a message to D.C. that we're wise to their trickery.

Civil disrespectful disobedience. Fudge 'em.
