For those that do not get it…

Tax System explained in Beer

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100.

If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes,it would go something like this The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.

The fifth would pay $1.

The sixth would pay $3.

The seventh would pay $7.

The eighth would pay $12.

The ninth would pay $18.

The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So, that's what they decided to do.The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve. 'Since you are all such good customers,' he said, 'I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20. 'Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men - the paying customers?

How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair share?' They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer. So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay.

And so the fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings).

The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings).

The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28%savings).

The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings).

The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 ( 22% savings).

The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).

Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings.

'I only got a dollar out of the $20,'declared the sixth man.

He pointed to the tenth man,' but he got $10!''Yeah, that's right,' exclaimed the fifth man.

'I only saved a dollar, too. It's unfair that he got ten times more than I!''That's true!!' shouted the seventh man.

'Why should he get $10 back when I got only two?

The wealthy get all the breaks!

''Wait a minute,' yelled the first four men in unison. 'We didn't get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!

'The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!

And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier. David R. Kamerschen, PhD Professor of Economics University of Georgia For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.

Here is s good open ended questions to ask the big government idiot sheeple types:

The top 10% of wage earners in America should pay what per-cent of all taxes?

If they say less than reality then hit them with the facts.

If they say more than 70%, then ask the SOCIALIST if that is FAIR AND EQUITABLE.

New Data: Top 1% Pay Greater Dollar Amount in Income Taxes to Federal Government than Bottom 90%

I hope the rest of the "Top 1%" stop voluntarily participating in this fraudulent non sense and soon. ;-)

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”—Samuel Adams

Tax System explained in Beer

You don't get beer for your tax money, you get subsidized bank vaults.

It's not called "ZOG" because zionists are poor, you know. The rich constitute the shadow government and they protect themselves by playing the poor against the middle class with welfare. The rich LIKE the welfare, don't you get it? It helps the rich more than it does the middle class. The richest take their money and lobby the government for more with it. You think the policy behind the current housing market debacle was created by the poor? What makes a person ignore the widening gap between the rich and the middle class to post rich-ass-kissing-flat-tax-BS? I'll tell you - it's a combination of stupid and greed, unless you're rich, in which case it's only greed.

The top ten percent don't "pay" those taxes, they collect them, either from their customers or their own hourly wage slaves. In exchange for this bookkeeping (where a corporate profits tax is passed on as a direct, un-apportioned wage tax to those who don't owe it) the rich pay little or no taxes on their personal wealth.

How else could Chase Bank show profits in the billions and owe no corporate taxes? Because the money came from their thousands of workers instead. And, their lawyers and accountants were on hand to assure the slaves that "Oh yes, you do indeed owe this tax as payment for the privilege of working for this corporation!"

Tax System explained in Beer

Beer is taxed more than other things, so right there I can see this analogy is going to be 180 degrees out of phase with reality.

Might as well be explaining the dewey decimal system with cigarettes, it's less perverse.

Obviously then the top 1% make an obscene amount of money.

His last year at Enron, Ken Lay stole $130,000,000 as salary/bonus. That's 2,600 people making $50,000.

I'm in favor of luxury taxes on top of sales taxes, but they are "regressive" taxes in the eyes of flat-taxers. They might kill off the yachting manufacturing sector, after all. Boo hoo.

Everything could be handled with anonymous graduated sales taxes, and property taxes. I'm ignoring things like continuing licensing fees here. No tax on small local purchases of food and necessities like toilet paper. High anonymous taxes for luxury items.

Small-purchase vices could be handled with a combination of luxury taxes and manufacturer-distributor licensing fees. Personal firearms could be handled with owner licensing fees that increase with population density and lethality. Since theoretically one can accommodate or practically exclude all the potential risks, even simulate fines, there's no reason why systems like those could not duplicate what we have now or make something that is better.

I wonder where ole Kenny is living and spending that 130 million. He sure as hell didn't die and was creamated within 2 hours of his death. Somebody ought to follow his wife and see where she is living and with who she is spending her time. Some of the cheated Enron workers should be watching and investigating this hoax. My guess, with ole Kenny!
