This is something I have been thinking about since McKook is always yammering, "My friend(s)!" And he is as phony as a three-dollar bill, just like Elmer Gantry. I was just wondering if anyone else had thought about the similarity.

Well, if one compares McCain's actions while a POW to Capt.Humbert Roque "Rocky" Versace's it's easy to see what a traitor scumbag he is. As the son and grandson of two of the navy's most respected admirals he was more than willing to cash in on that and make it work for him. He lived a comfy existence in Hanoi while his fellow POWs were getting their bones snapped and joints dislocated.

He also gave interviews where he bashed the US and confessed to being a war crim and an air pirate for his bombing runs.

MEDAL OF HONOR CITATION

(Note: Presented posthumously at the White House by President Bush on Monday, 8 July 2002)

The President of the United States of America, authorized by Act of Congress, March 3, 1863, has awarded in the name of The Congress the Medal of Honor to

CAPTAIN HUMBERT R. VERSACE UNITED STATES ARMY

for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life above and beyond the call of duty:

Captain Humbert R. Versace distinguished himself by extraordinary heroism during the period of 29 October 1963 to 26 September 1965, while serving as S-2 Advisor, Military Assistance Advisory Group, Detachment 52, Ca Mau, Republic of Vietnam. While accompanying a Civilian Irregular Defense Group patrol engaged in combat operations in Thoi Binh District, An Xuyen Province, Captain Versace and the patrol came under sudden and intense mortar, automatic weapons, and small arms fire from elements of a heavily armed enemy battalion. As the battle raged, Captain Versace, although severely wounded in the knee and back by hostile fire, fought valiantly and continued to engage enemy targets. Weakened by his wounds and fatigued by the fierce firefight, Captain Versace stubbornly resisted capture by the over-powering Viet Cong force with the last full measure of his strength and ammunition. Taken prisoner by the Viet Cong, he exemplified the tenets of the Code of Conduct from the time he entered into Prisoner of War status. Captain Versace assumed command of his fellow American soldiers, scorned the enemy's exhaustive interrogation and indoctrination efforts, and made three unsuccessful attempts to escape, despite his weakened condition which was brought about by his wounds and the extreme privation and hardships he was forced to endure. During his captivity, Captain Versace was segregated in an isolated prisoner of war cage, manacled in irons for prolonged periods of time, and placed on extremely reduced ration. The enemy was unable to break his indomitable will, his faith in God, and his trust in the United States of America. Captain Versace, an American fighting man who epitomized the principles of his country and the Code of Conduct, was executed by the Viet Cong on 26 September 1965. Captain Versace's gallant actions in close contact with an enemy force and unyielding courage and bravery while a prisoner of war are in the highest traditions of the military service and reflect the utmost credit upon himself and the United States Army.

What was McCain doing while Capt. Versace was lying in an unmarked grave for resisting the enemy and shouting encouragement to his men? Why, he was in the arms of prostitutes in a Hanoi hotel, resting up for his next interview, each a guaranteed propaganda victory for the Hanoi regime.

Yes, it's safe to assume that McCain is a lying scumbag traitor who would say and do anything to realize his ambitions. Truth, honesty, ethics and integrity are simply controls for the little people.

Thanks for the information. McKook would have never gone as far as he did in politics without a lot of dirty dealing on his part.

John McCain reminds me of Elmer ... Fudd (not Gantry)

Resolve to serve no more, and you are at once freed. I do not ask that you place hands upon the tyrant to topple him over, but simply that you support him no longer; then you will behold him, like a great Colossus whose pedestal has been pulled away, fall of his own weight and break in pieces.

Thanks for the information. McKook would have never gone as far as he did in politics without a lot of dirty dealing on his part.

I won't recommend reading for folks who aren't particularly sensitized to POW/MIA issues, but, a brief synopsis is in order.

He has done more than any other public official to seal records and to kill any attempts to search for additional personnel still held captive. He is scared white that some will return alive and rat his traitorous ass out, and he belittles vets volunteers publicly in senate hearings while embracing the enemy CO who supposedly mistreated him.

His fellow POWs are convinced that McCain was sending a message to the VC commander: "Please don't tell what you know about me!" McCain denied that he was ever interrogated by Russians, but the fall of the FSU made records available that tell a much different story.

Shortly after McCain's capture the enemy flak (AA guns) were not only lined up on approach to the targets, but they suddenly knew the planned exit flight paths and just when to turn on their RADAR to maximize the downing of American planes.

It was so uncanny that there was little doubt that the enemy was helped. And, all fingers point to the same incompetent, spoiled son of privilege.

Unlike other POWs who were tortured some of who died as a result, McCain never had any additional injuries beyond those he suffered during his bailout and at the hands of the people who pulled him from the lake. (I'd be tempted to stomp the green bile out of captured enemy pilots, too)

The reason why he wasn't killed or crippled (by an enemy that didn't hesitate to kill courageous officers who resisted like Capt. Versace) was, they made him an offer which he accepted. They even offered to release him but he couldn't accept that and still have a career in politics. (Unlike his pop and grand pappy he knew he wasn't going to make the navy his career) So, he "gutted it out" living in downtown hotels with room service and teenage prostitutes to help pass the hours of captivity.

The man's short, explosive temper is doubtlessly the pain of his own conscience gnawing at him. And, unlike the popular brainwashed Manchurian Candidate theories that are around I believe that he is a conscious and willing traitor to his country.

I truly despise him, almost as much as the brainwashed voters who'll feel compelled to vote for him because he's "Not the Democrat".

Thanks for the info about McCain. I knew some of that but not all of it.
